Today's Jodi Gala was fantastic.
The first Jodi Performance was by Ruprekha & Qazi. They sang the song Dhadak Dhadak from Bunty
Aur Bubli. It was more of Ruprekha's show here and Qazi had little to sing in the song but was complimenting her very well. And Ruprekha was too good. 😊 It was Ruprekha like Steffi Graf with her fraulin forehand mesmerising everyone.... I feel if Ruprekha would have been a tennis player and playing final against Arpita, the score line would have read Ruprekha wins 6-0, 6-0. 😆😆. I feel Arpita was more like Sorrow Ganguly 😭😭, crying about everything and not bothered about her own perfomance.
After last 2 weeks of tense matches due to the contestents not knowing whose gonna go into the final 3, this was going to be a great perfomance day by everyone and it proved. No tensions on anyones faces. Ruprekha was the most relaxed and singing and charming with her voice. Thats
exactly what SM said after her performance. She looks relaxed, singing without tensions.
I was personally recalling the round of last 4 and how terrible it was for 2 weeks for these 3 to be in that situation. Except for Ruprekha for 1 week when she was in safe zone and Qazi who was in Safe zone next week. It was like the 2003 World Cup Cricket stage of last 4, when Kenya (Arpita) had entered the semi-final and all calculations were spoiled and more danger was there in the semi-final if Kenya (Arpita) would have Won against India in semi-final and played Australia (Rex, Ruprekha & Qazi) for World cup (Fame Jodi). 😆. India (Ruprekha) stopped keyna (Arpita) in semi finals and we were all spared of watching a real bad contest.
The 2nd Jodi performance was by Ruprekha & Rex. This was the best along with Qazi & Rex. Ruprekha & Rex singing "Chup Chup Ke" from Bunty Aur Bubli. It was awesome comibination. I am still spell bound on this song by them. Like Michael Holding, West Indian fast bowler of yesteryears coming in smoothly and bowling and the umpires not even knowing he is approaching to bowl, and use to sometimes turn around to see whether he was coming and ops here he was, so smooth was his run up. Good man Aprita was out else these matches would not have been so magnificient.
It seems till she was there, it was all tensions between contestants and now these same people are so relaxed and performing so well. I feel Arpita was a Rotten Mango and she was responsible for creating cracks in relations and also going here to Rex to talk about Qazi and there to talk to Ruprekha about Qazi and all these talks created pressure and tensions. And the moment she was out, here were the three back to their best. 😊
And the final jodi Qazi & Rex, singing "Rum Rata Rigiri Rata Rum, Dilbara E-Dilbara Apun ke Tu, Apun Tera...." from Dhoom. It was such a magnificient Chemistry going on between those 2, was just too good. The way both complimenting each other, Qazi & Rex walking and one going down and the other up and the other down and Qazi jumping on Rex's back... It was real good chemistry. 👏👏👏
There were individual performances as well. And Qazi singing "Sochti Hai Jyada, Kam Woh Samajti Hai" from Hum Tum (Perhaps for all our forum gals who r crazy after him, Arshi, Rooma etc, LOL, pls hit me if i hv forgotten ur name gals n i will add them, LOL). 😆😆😆
This guy has improved leaps and bounds from what he was. SM reminded him how he sang first time in FG and how today he has got hold of SUR....
All & all this was the best perfomances by all 3. Seems they were all in tensions which they are out of reaching the final 3.
Rex was asked by Mandira, whenever he was given the pen to cross the one with whom he didnt want to be FJ with he crossed Qazi, Rex replied "It wasnt like that i was told as far as singing is concerned i should be selecting who i should select and i crossed Qazi, but if u ask me at a personal level, then i would vote for only Qazi."
In between Qazi was asked, what would he advice to Rex, and he replied saying, Sorry Judges and did mimicry of all 3 judges, first Javed Akhtar, then SM and then KK, and it was hilarous.😃😃😃
All in all it was a gr8 Grand Gala and it has become difficult to say whether to vote for Qazi & Rex or Rex & Arpita, as the song between Qazi & Ruprekha didnt allow Qazi much to perform.
The show ended with Ruprekha, Qazi & Rex performing Kajra rey from Bunty aur Bubli and Shankar Mahadevan & KK joined them since it was SM song and he couldnt resist joining the young brigade dancing to his tune.
I feel there should have been more Grand Gala before a final so that the best Jodi is selected.
Finally here is a little humour for you all....

Once a teacher asks a very rich girl studying in 1st standard to write an essay on the topic " A Poor Family"
So she writes:
Ek baar ek bahut hee gareeb family thi, Pati aur Patni dono gareeb they, do bachey they, woh bhi bahut gareeb they!!
Ghar ke saare naukar bhi gareeb they, ghar ka maali, driver, aur guard bhi bahut gareeb they, ghar ke 4 kuttey bhi gareeb they, 2 din sey chicken nahi khaaya tha, Do mercedeez gaadi thi, unki bahut time se servicing nahi hui thi, ghar ka A.C bhi theek nahi chalta tha ghar mein 1 saal sey paint nahi hua tha. Parivaar ko holiday ke liye foregin country gaye bhi 1 saal ho gaya tha. ghar ke 3 mein sey 2 TV toh chaltey hee nahi they, all in all, bahut he gareeb family thi!!
