Heard of a Hindi phrase 'doodh ka jalaa chhachh ko bhi phook kar peeta hai'? Well, it's something like this that happened with Karan Oberoi. Karan was delighted when girlfriend Mona Singh threw a surprise birthday bash for him recently. Karan, who has been a complete teetotaler all his life, was fooled into having alcohol. The plan to get him sozzled was hatched by girlfriend Mona Singh and his buddies from the 'Band of Boys'. A few glasses down, Karan was seen laughing uncontrollably, singing and dancing. The following day the actor-cum-singer had a head-splitting hangover. As a result, the actor decided to be off all kinds of drinks, soft or hard.

Our source, who was at the present at the birthday bash, says, "The entire 'Band of Boys' has tried to get Karan drunk earlier when they used to hang out together. But they have been unsuccessful so far. They wanted to have fun at his expense. Mona, who like to drink occasionally, and her partners in crime spiked the cold drink and got him drunk. A sloshed out Karan ended up laughing at the weirdest of jokes, behaving strangely - he was dancing, singing at the top of his voice and playing the guitar. The party went on till the wee hours. At the end of it Karan had terrible headache. The next morning he was sipping black coffee to get beat the hangover."

Karan has now become wiser. He says, "I think all my friends have had a secret desire to get me drunk and their plan worked out finally. I am not going to touch alcohol ever, I am off soft drinks as well. Whenever I am out these days, I check my drinks (fruit juices) properly."

Woww thats a real Good Quality of Karan 😛 ..For the first time I m hearing of an Actor who doesn't drink even in Parties 😛 😛

KO doesn't drink?? Now THAT's one thing about him I can like wholeheartedly! 👏 I hope Mona gives up the occasional "social drink" too.

@ Coming to Mona, she actually tried to get him drink. and there are wives who don't want their hubbies to drink.
