standing ovation to srk-kajol jodi but no standing ovation to jeetendra on his lifetime achievement award..that is the least one does when any one wins it..

Lol..giving standing ovation for dat performance was like appreciating Dilwale for its content ..agree Jeetendra shud b given a standing ovation too..every person getting life time achievement award deserves it n gets it..Bt I guess expecting ppl to play fair in dese award events is too much

of course she asked..no one else in his right state of mind would stand up for that himself unless asked

but if hosts can ask for standing ovation for that act what were they smoking when jeetendra was given lifetime achievement award..they could have asked for a standing ovation then too..who ever hosted that segment

I don't think it was standing ovation to the performance but SRK-Kajol emselves. Kajol deserved a bit of appreciation ... She performed after ages on stage.

But I do agree why nobody stood up when Jeetendre and the other veteran actress won? Audience reaction to everything was just so lazy and sad.

These people are into ass licking only. Farah asked audience to give them a standing ovation but very conveniently forgot the same when Jeetendra came. Besides look at the generosity of people present there, they didn't have the basic etiquette to stand up for the man who was given an award for his service to the industry. Uneducated morons.

What was the need for standing ovation ? That too for that crap perfomance SRK-KAJOL was my fav jodi as a kid bt nw i think thy are too ovrhyped...anothr chutiyapah was the style icon award given to pari for loosing weight...GROSS even in this case bhumi pendkaar was the deserving candidate
