Star Wars - The Force Awakens grossed 3.50 crore nett on day one which is average business and it only only really collected in English format. The film which is an unparalleled craze all over the world does not have such a huge following in India so the film is not as strong as countries where records are being broken by huge margins. The business of Star Wars - The Force Awakens is as follows.

Paid Previews - 1,00,00,000

Friday - 3,50,00,000

TOTAL - 4,50,00,000

In India the film could sustain and have a good run at the premium multiplexes but that remains to be seen.

It is set to cross the I billion mark (DOM) if this Christmas weekend is around 160.

That would put in the top 15 of all time, if that was SW's opening weekend.

If it does over 152 that bests The Hunger Games at 10.

And if it does over 160 that bests the Dark Night opening weekend and put its on the 7th spot if it were to be the opening weekend of SW.

Think about that, the second weekend over 150. That is just bat shit crazy!
