Ram and Lakshman after successfully accomplishing their task of destroying the asuras are waiting for Maharshi Vishwamitra to give them his consent to go back to Ayodhya. Just at the same time Maharshi appears and ask them to accompany him to Mithila to have a darshan of Lord Shiv's divine dhanush.
Ram gently smiles in approval. Inside he is extremely elated to meet Sita. Ram and Lakshman start following Maharshi to Mithila. They have to walk all the way as horses cannot climb as the path through the mountains is steep and slippery with a lot of pebbles. Ram is lost in his thought.
Sita Sita Sita why do I think more about her? why am i so exited to go to Mithila? I don't even know her then why? What is that drags my thoughts to her? do I feel for her? Ram control your thoughts how can you get carried away by your thoughts his inner self warns him but Ram keeps on pondering for the reason. Now I know the reason behind my strange feelings i like her, Sita. May be its more than liking, may be respect? of course I respect her ideology and her acts her bravery, may be that is what I like more about her. She is just like me selfless, kind hearted, caring and loving person. That's it why didn't i realise earlier that I love her. Yes I love Sita. Right now I want to scream loudly that Ram loves Sita. Ram smiles widely aware of the new found feelings. Lakshman sees Ram lost in thoughts he ask him if he is ok. Ram comes out of his thoughts and assures him with a smiling gesture. Lakshman gets confused. He is seeing a new side in his brother's behaviour. The kept on walking through the jungle.
Ram enters the cursed part of the forest even after being warned and frees Ahilya from her curse. Everyone including Maharshi Vishwamitra will praise him. Later Maharshi Vishwamitra Ram and Lakshman proceed to Mithila.
Shatanad informs Janak about the kings who gave ther confirmation of attending Swayamvar. Later he tells him that Dasharad maharaj elder sons are not in Ayodhya so they are not attending the swayamvar.Janak says may be destiny brings him here who knows.
on the other hand Sita is so happy about Ram attending Swayamvar. She is her garden wandering here and there .She starts thinking about Ram's arrival at swayamwar and wishes Lord Shiv.
Hey Lord Shiv ji my pure love towards Ram is true
let me believe that this is true
console my heart it will be true
this world is for us and is to live together
make be believe that my dream is true

i feel like we spent all our past lives together
and will spend this life too with him
i wish to travel to a place where there is no time

Sita slowly comes back in to senses from her dreamy world of Ram. She remember Shatanand ji telling her father that Ravan is so powerful and can easily lift the dhanush as he is capable of lifting Kailash parvat. Sita gets tensed with the thought of Ravan.
Urmila arrives there at that time and ask her the reason for her tension. Sita tell her eveything. Urmila assures Sita that Ram will only marry her.
Urmila tells her that Ram is much more capable and a person with wit and knowledge.If he can alone kill Tataka then for sure he will lift the dhanush easily. Sita feels releived and hugs her sister. Sita and Urmila go inside Raj Bhavan. Sita standing in balcony notices Ram's horse in their horse stable.
She swiftly runs of of the Raj bhavan and hugs the horse. You are here. Where is Ram . Then a soldier replies that these horses are brought here by Maharshi Viswamitra's disciples. She goes out of Raj bhavan and runs into forest. Urmila sees Sita from the balcony and decide to stop her but she is late Sita is already gone. Urmila decides to search her.
Sita firstly goes to Gautam Maharshi Ashram and is very pleased to meet Ahilya mata. She
Thinks she might meet Ram on her way back. Urmila frantically searches for her. Urmila shouts loudly Sita didi where are you? Ram and Lakshman hear her call. They ask Vishwamitra to proceed and they will find if something is wrong. Maharshi proceeds to raj bhavan.
At raj bhavan eveyone are tensed as Urmila and and Sita are missing. They send soldiers in search of them. They welcome Maharshi. Lakshman and Ram come face to face with Urmila. She introduces herself to them as Mithila rajkumari Urmila. She tell them that Sita is missing. Lakshman laughs at her loudly. Ram gestures him not to. Ram ask Lakshman to escot Urmila to raj bhavan as its already dark.
Ram understand that Sita is not missing but she is searching for him as she knows about Ahilya he is sure that she may have gone to Gautam ashram. Sita is on her way back. Urmila on her way back questions lakshman why did he laugh. He tells her that its not Sita devi who has lost the way its you
As far as I know your sister she is brave and tackle the situation calmly just like his elder brother Ram. Urmila smiles.
Sita walks down the moon lit path through the jungle. She looks stunningly beautiful with her long hair white dress just like an angel from heaven. Till then Sita did not realise it has become dark and she also feels bad that everyone will be worrying for her as she dis not inform anyone. She increases her pace to reach home.
Urmila stumbles over a rock and is about to fall Lakshman stops her by holding her hand. For the first time both Lakshman and Urmila notice each other properly. Lakshman is mesmerised to see Urmila. Urmila notices a spark in Lakshman's eyes and feel that he indeed is so handsome. They are lost
in each others for a moment and then continue to walk.
Sita starts talking to herself. Sita how can you be so foolish. Are you searching for a person whom you have never met moreover you dont have a confirmed news of his arrival. You have gone mad Sita.
Tomorrow is your swayamvar and you are here searching an unknown person in the middle of the jungle at this hour what do people think. Mother and father will be so worried.
Ram sees Sita walking down the lane in hurry. She missed noticing him . Ram decides to follow
her silently. Urmila and Lakshman reach the main gate she thanks him and goes into Raj bhavan. Janak Maharaj thanks Lakshman and ask them about Sita. Lakshman assures that his brother Ram is there to protect her. Everyone goes into Raj bhavan Urmila turns back and smiles at Lakshman before leaving, Lakshman finds Urmilas aklet on the ground and picks it up. Something new is about to start.
Sita starts her blabbering all over again. How can i love a person whom i never met, moreover what if he dont know me or may be he loves someone else. Ram silently follows Sita smiling over her antics. He thinks that Sita is so different naturally girls get scared of darkness and here see my Sita she came searching me at this hour and she instated of getting scared talking infact blabbering into darkness.
Sita did not even notice Ram following her .Ram stops behind and notices a mire ahead on their way Sita is so close to it. Ram swiftly throws a fire arrow into the sky creating light. Sita is startled and is about to fall into mire Ram gets hold of her by waist. Sita is shocked to see Ram there.
Ram makes her stand straight and ask her what is she doing here at this hour. Sita asks Ram all the way you followed me then why didn't you call me. Childish Sita is much better than original Sita. Sita is angry at Ram teasing her and walks swiftly towards raj bhavan. They reached the main gate Sita angrily walking ahead and Ram following her. Sita... Ram calls her before she enters Raj bhavan. Sita turns around. "Myself Dasharad nandan Ram is here to tell how much he loves Sita and he will prove it in swayamvar by being the one who she marries." Sita feeling shy runs away without turning back. Ram feels light hearted as he expressed his feelings to Sita.
