Why didn't you tell me Kunj?" Twinkle asked with tears in her eyes
"I don't know. I was so consumed with guilt that I couldn't think straight" Kunj tried to explain
"Stop giving me excuses if you trusted me telling me would have been a relief not a burden but you don't trust me" Twinkle said
"No that's not true"
"Kunj you are the only one who considers the truth to be a burden. Tum nay much say itni badhi baat kyun chupiyi. I used to be proud that you are my husband now I am disappointed" Twinkle said
"Twinkle, please.."
"Nahi abb main aur kuch nahi suna chati. Main maa kay ghar have rahi hu. Don't your dare follow me. I need some space" Twinkle said and started packing her bag
"Acha theek hain tum jab tak wapis ahao gi?"
"Pata nahi Kunj" Twinkle said
"Itni badi saza na do mujhay Twinkle"
"Aur join tumnay meray saath kia hain woh. Saachi rishaton ki bunayad hoti hain or jhoot in rishaton ko kokhala kar deta hain. Ajj tum nay mera yaqeen thoda hain" Twinkle said
"Main dar gaya this Twinkle. Par ajj tumhay main nahi roku ga. Par please humaray rishtay ko aik aur chance dena"
"I will think about it. Good bye Kunj" Twinkle said. With a heavy heart she stepped out of their room. Their room which had been her sanctuary she had so any good memories associated with it. She never thought that one day she would willingly leave this place she wanted to turn around and look at him one last time but she knew that of she did she would never leave. It physically and mentally hurt her to see him cry but she had to do this.it was ironic how sometimes people closest to us hurt us the most. She had never expected this from Kunj but he was a human too who was bound to make mistakes. She reached her mother's house. Leela looked at her and was about to question her but she shook her head and silently walked to her old room. This room felt alien to her even though she had spent her most of her life here but this was no longer her room. Will she ever forgive him? She knew she would in a heartbeat but didn't mean she could forget so easily. She finally went to sleep.
Kunj was holding his head in his arms and was sitting on her side of the bed. He missed her already. She had been gone for just a few minutes he didn't know how he would survive without her. He was such a big fool he should have told her the truth. He wished he could go back in the past and fix his mistake now he only hoped she would come back soon and forgive him.
Three weeks later
It had been three weeks since Twinkle left him. During that time Twinkle had refused to talk to him he still used to message her every day. He was surprised when he saw her call on the phone while sitting in the university cafe.
"Hello Kunj tum free ho?" Twinkle said
"Hah bolo kya baat hain"
"Kya tum hospital aha saktay ho abhi"Twinkle asked
"Twinkle kya hua tum theek toh ho na"
"Hah tum bas jaldi aha jao"Twinkle said
"Tum tension na main bas panch raha hu"
Kunj disconnected the call quickly paid the bill and made his way to the parking lot. He hastily drove his car to the hospital breaking many traffic rules on the way. He finally reached the hospital and ran towards the reception desk. He inquired about Twinkle's room. After learning where she was he ran towards her room. He would be seeing her after three weeks. He opened the door. Twinkle was sitting on the bed while an IV was attached to her wrist.
"Yay drip kis liay twinkle tuh theek toh hain" Kunj asked
"Hah yeh bas weaknesses kay liay hain. The doctor said its quite common in this condition"
"What condition you are scaring me Twinkle" Kunj said
"I am pregnant"
"Are you serious? " kunj asked
"Tumhay lagta hain main mazak kar rahi hun"
"Nahi but wow that's great news" Kunj said
"I am scared Kunj what if we are not ready to be parents"
"Twinkle nobody is ever fully prepared but trust me it's the best job in the world and we have nine months to get ready" Kunj reassured her
"Kya main ghar aha sakti hun tumharay saath. Bas buhat hogaya abb. We need to forget everything and move on"
"Twinkle these past three weeks have been hell without you. Trust me this will never happen again" Kunj told her.
After talking to the doctor Kunj took Twinkle home.
"Abhi kisi ko mat batana"
"Kyun yeh toh khusi ki baat hain"
"Hah but wait Karo tell them after a few days".
"Ok as you wish Twinkle. Tum zada stress mat lo"
He had already fetched her suitcase from her house. He helped her adjust her wardrobe. He silently vowed never to lie to her again.
