Gupta Mansion,
Khushi broke out in tears as soon as she entered her room. She closed the door with a bang and slid down against it, as she felt her own life slipping from her hands and her tears slipping down from the tear glands.
Lavanya, who had the room right next to Khushi's was instantly worried for Khushi and hence moved out of her room to ask if she was fine, when she came face to face with her father, who was compassionately smiling at her.
" Papa, Aap?" Lavanya questioned Shashi while shock was written all over her face, maybe he heard Khushi's door shutting with a thud, thought Lavanya.
" Can I come in, Bete?" Shashi asked with a smile on his face, while Lavanya moved away from the entrance to let him in, while questioning look developed on her face, as she thought about the possible questions.
" Lavanya Bete, can you do something for me?" Shashi asked as he held her shoulder affectionately while Lavanya didn't feel great vibes as his words reverberated in her ear drums.
" Is this even something to ask, Papa? Just name it." Lavanya couldn't let Shashi down in any matter especially after the favors he conferred on her. She wasn't his blood, but she was his wife's daughter from an extra-marital affair but even for a minute he didn't let her feel that and now she couldn't let him down.
" Marry NK, Arnav's brother, Beta. I am in a constant worry these days for both of you and now since Khushi will get married, I will get even more worried for you because she will have her husband and his family but you will be all alone right? Can you please think about this once, for me? I also heard that NK graduated from the same college as you, so there are chances you know each other and I am sure that NK and you would make an amazing jodi."
Shashi's concern-filled voice was causing turbulence in Lavanya's mind. To accept, marry NK and make the father who gave her everything happy or to deny, not marry NK and reject the father who asked her something for the first time.
" What does the Raizada family say about this, Papa? They want this marriage?"
Lavanya hoped that Raizada family rejects her, as they know that she has been in relationship with his brother and it would be difficult for them to accept her. It would be better for her if the Raizadas reject it, rather than her.
" Raizadas are happy with this, Bete. In fact, they are waiting for your decision." Shashi's reply shook the ground on which Lavanya was standing. She felt every ray of hope being snatched from her, as she didn't want to reject her father. It was like not having an option, even after having one, as the adamant heart sees only one option, the one which it wants.
" I am ready to get married to NK, Papa." A hoarse whisper left Lavanya's mouth, as hurt swam in her deep pool like eyes, while a wide smile adorned Shashi's face as he hugged his daughter warmly while mouthing,
" This is what I had expected of you, Bete. Thanks a lot, I am so proud of you."
Lavanya wondered what was the way of destiny which was uniting her with the same person who gave her immense pain and uniting her to the same family, where one of the family members tormented her and her sister's soul.

" NK Bitua, can I have a word with you?" Nani called out to NK, after receiving confirmation from Shashi that the alliance is confirmed from their side.
NK took thoughtful steps towards his grandmother, and took the seat beside her as instructed by Devyani. Devyani held NK's hand in between hers and passed the information to him,
" NK Bitua, Shashi Ji has placed a proposition in front of us, for your and Lavanya Bitiya's marriage and Lavanya Bitiya has already said yes for this. What is your take on this?"
NK's heart was swinging in between immense shock and intense pleasure as he was unable to comprehend which emotion was stronger. He didn't know if he had to be happy that finally Lavanya agreed to become his or to be shocked that why did she accept it so suddenly.
" Lavanya said yes for this alliance, Dadi?" Nk wanted to reconfirm what he heard before he loses his senses unable to fathom what to do.
" Yes, Bitua. Shashi Ji just told me that she said yes for the alliance and now only your acceptance is remaining, as I have already said yes from my side." Nani's warm smile had no effect on NK, as his heart was racing in happiness as the shock vanished, that he was finally getting Lavanya to himself.
" Dadi, I am ready to get married to Lavanya, in fact I am very happy about this." His happiness was reflected on his face, which was lit up with the glow of love, which was again reignited with hope.
" Shashi Ji was so right in thinking that there is something in between you both. Now see, how you both agreed without any kind of persuasion from the elders." Nani teased NK, while he mildly blushed at his Dadi's comments. The very thought of future with Lavanya was making a fuzzy feeling develop in the pit of his stomach.
What would happen when a confrontation between all the four take place? There was love between Arnav and Khushi, but too many layers of misunderstandings and pain to bring it out in open. Obsession which NK named as love was finally getting fulfilled but what about Lavanya, who felt tormented by even the thought of staying at Raizada Mansion with Arnav around and as NK's wife?
