What a lovely post Kinza. Its brilliant as usual. Yes the song and its lyrics were so well placed with the scenes. I loved the progression of the scene and ultimately reaching its culmination. It actually told Rizwan's heart story, the scene showed his journey through vivid emotions which lives within him. The writing was brilliant on its part, the execution was even better.
The scene started with Preet saying to him he wanted to get rid of her and thus ignoring her . Isnt that so true? Rizwan hamesha Preet se dur bhagna chahta hai kyunki woh use aapni zindagi ke maqsad se dur karti hai! His raging emotions are always brushed off telling his conscience that he has to depart and for that departure, he needs to detach himself or remain detached. But human emotions being strangest of all, know only to surrender, to invest emotions where affection and love is so pure, so selfless. Thus when Rizwan afmits that toh aaj tumhe pata chal hi gaya ke main itne saalon se tumse peecha chudana chahta hun, he unknowingly told her truth.use khud woh baat shayad pata hi na chala.The beauty of it all that both failed to accept it as feeling of love is so hard to give up, to let go. Love is that music which tunes the song called Life. RIZREET defines that.
Coming to the cutest part pillow fight, lot has been discussed about the scene, but my most favorite part placing of the lyrics-teri nazron me tere sapne, tere sapne me hai narazi. Preet looking up and her meeting eyes mesmerising Rizwan. He did lose his sense of reality in those intimate moments, thats what his soul wants, his heart craves for but still his harshest truth does not let him live the dreams of that beating heart. In the process, preet's dreams remain unfullifilled too. That line was so apt for Rizwan's approach to the relationship and Preet. I love how you mentioned the scattered cottons decorating their daydream in reality like snow does. Snow brings coldness but in their embrace warmth inhabited and they felt each other. His smile reflected his words-preet se rishta sukoon ka rishta hai. The storms within breaths its last in those ephemeral moments. As you said as if asking the time to stop with the song playing in background-

The culmination part stole my heart and made me teary eyed as Rizwan's dream got shattered in licker by Preet's words. A MAN who is sure about his deprture but uncertain about the tomorrow breaks into pieces when his beloved talks about that forever till death which he knows may not come at all. The expressions on Rizwan's face anfd eye spoke that the peecha chudana which he was boasting about is nothing but deathfor him. Jab aapko pata hai ke aap kisi bhi kal ka hissa naho banoge, tab shayad aaj me jeene wale pal bhi beimanne lagte hai. The start with talking about detachment and the closure with pain depicting sense of that same detachment and awareness of being distant was marvellous piece of writing. My heart sank when Rizwan still collected himself to say kuch huya bhi toh milke samhal lenge. Togetherness is need for him and yet its the most elusive part in his destiny.

Mona exprssed so much through eyes in that song seq , she potraued pureness, devotion, blush, selfless live and sense of fullfillment through those eyes. Iqbal took my heart with that closure and that content smile. Dil lo Rizwan tum. ⭐️
