Anita hassanandani..who set her foot from modeling to acting got a good chance to start her carrier through ekta's popular serial 'kabhi sautan kabhi saheli'.after that she did serials like 'kavyanjali' and 'kayamath' along with south Indian and hindi films. she worked in anurag basu's recently hit movie 'metro', and will be seen in the to-be released film 'dus kahaaniyan'.but right now anita is in talks of all people through her small role in ekta's 'kyunki….'.so the actress who worked continuously iin both the big and small screen is now afraid of lead roles? She says'to give an approval to lead role, means working for about 25 days in a month. this is not possible for me. I cannot dedicate my self to one lead role and anyways my inclination is more towards films now. that is why I am giving preference to small roles.

Ekta kapoor gave anita her first break in the small screen. ekta is no less than a godfather to Anita. that is why she approved even a small role in 'kyunki..'.ask her about kyunki and she says 'initially itself ekta told me that my role would be small in kyunki. But since I am giving preference to small roles, so I said yes without wasting time. I play nakul's love interest, whom after nakul meets influences his life and brings about change in his life. All over it s a positive approach character.'

Anita is very excited regarding her to' be released film ' dus kahaaniyan'.she says'it was the first time I got to work with big people like nana patekar. He is generally regarded as an irritable person, but after working with him I came to know his nature is like that of a kid. He is very co-operative with new actors too, and he also teaches about the minor faults of acting.'

Anita is in headlines even because of her affair with eijaz khan. where other actors tend to hide a relationship, anita openly says 'we've just fallen in love, not committed any crime for which I should feel ashamed.' The eijaz and anita love story started on the kavyanjali sets where they used to have arguments. They worked together, and would often get into arguments. Then these arguments changed into love. Anita's life has changed a lot after friendship with eijaz. She says 'not just my way of thinking, even my way of living life has changed. Now I take things in a psotive way, am liking the change in me.' Then when are you marrying? According to anita ' what's the hurry! First let us know each other more closely, let us see how we are in times of happiness and sadness, and then if we have the approval, we will marry too.'
