Can Fitoor really be a hit??

Let's face it ARK doesn't have a fan base like Varun, Sid, or Ranveer. He has been missing since that movie he did with Parineeti which was a flop.

These kind of movies don't rely too much on star power. For them to be a hit it needs to be pretty good. I have no expectations from Katrina. Gonna be average at best

less katrina and more tabu may result in better reviews and WOM..so hoping tabu is there..like she was in haider...her presence in haider made us ignore a weak actress like shradha..may be we can do the same here provided she has a strong role

It could be if content is great

Its based on the Great Expectations (my most favourite Dickens' novel) so the content is perfect. Considering that Abhishek Kapoor is a good director and was able to adapt a shitty Chetan Bhagat novel into a great film I have high hopes from him on adapting this classic.

Also Kat is rather well cast here cause Estella was a cold, emotionless but very beautiful siren, so Kat may not have to emote much just look stunningly beautiful at which she excels. ARK also has the right kind of innocence to play Pip.

Today content is king, so if the movie is good it will work.

P.S. And I just found out that Tabu is playing Miss Havisham, that itself seals the deal. I am definitely watching this movie in theater.

Content and screenplay is a must nowadays.. Audience taste are changing for good thats why big stars films underperform when the screenplay is horrible.. If Fitoor has a strong screenplay and plot, this film will be a hit and depending on the starpower may even be a superhit..

Tabu is gonna steal the show in this one, cause Havisham is such an iconic character with so much meat for Tabu to dig into, she will be epic.😃

And all those uncertain about the story... trust me this is a story the Indian audience will definitely connect with because it has the right amount of tragedy, drama and pining for unrequited love. Its full of angst.

P.S. And the music is by Amit trivedi and it is shot in scenic Kashmir. I really think this movie might just work.
