Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai & Swaragini in Neck to Neck Competition to rule the 9.30 PM slot ; Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani & Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do fail to withstand the stiff competition !
9.30 PM slot is always a golden slot for all Hindi GECs.In Todays Indian Television,the 9.30 PM slot is occupied by some of best shows together on various GECs.But two of the shows are ruling the slot constantly leaving behind the other two.DKP's Long running block buster show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai has been consistently the slot leader of 9.30PM for the last 7 years and still the show is doing wonders.YRKKH has been the slot leader for the last two weeks even.This week YRKKH lost the slot leader position by 0.1 rating.Still the Show is on top 10 !The current track of Akshara's blindness and family's initiative to take care of her are appealing to the viewers and they still love the show.
Rashmi's Sharma Telefilm's Swaragini is another show which is ruling the 9.30PM slot .It is a show which has been capable of becoming the slot leader of 9.30PM beating YRKKH even in some weeks on ratings.Swaragini is doing wonders for Colors.
Swaragini and YRKKH are passing on the SLOT LEADER title week by week leaving behind two of the biggies of tv, Ek Tha Raja Ek THi Rani and Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do.
Zee tv brought EKR2 as a replacement for Qubool Hai " 9.30PM slot due to the stiff competition from YRKKH.But EKR2 too cant withstand the strong competition from YRKKH and Swaragini.This week EKR2 gained 1.7 while Swaragini and YRKKH gained 2.8 and 2.7 respectively.Zee tv has launched EKR2 with great expectations starring popular tv star Drashti Dami but the show has not yet shown its 'Mark' on the ratings list.
Ekta Kapoor's big budget family drama Pyaar Ko Ho jaane do was also an ambitious project for SONYtv but unfortunately it gathers very low ratings.This week it gained 0.2 which is disastrous,The show is all set to go off air by January end.
