Highlights of this decade for both:

- Having 3rd Highest Grosser of the decade as well as All Time Record - RNBDJ - 2008

- Only Star in Bollywod to hold this record that in a Decade, all 3 - India, Overeas, Worldwide total gross of all films is Highest, in decade wise as well All Time WISE also till 2009.

- Share Max. 3 HGOTY Record with Hrithik, Srk had these 3

= 2004 - Veer Zaara

= 2007 - Om Shanti Om

- 1st film as per Decade to cross 100+ Cr Worldwide, this also Srk share it with Hrithik, coz film was K3G.

SALMAN:-

- 3rd Big Star of Decade with 3rd Highest Total of NETT/WW Collections of All Films. In Overseas Total of films, he is at No.4 after Hrithik, just 2 Cr short.

Clearly Decade belongs to SRK among these 2, his best phase in his career, been consistent with hits, got best projects, but few records he missed or couldn't achieve in this decade which Salman in his best Phase has achieved back in 90's.

- 3 Stars gave ALL TIME GROSSER in this decade, Srk not even 1(also not in previous decade):

= Sunny Deol - Gadar - 2001

= Hrithik Roshan - Dhoom 2 - 2006

= Aamir Khan - Ghajini - 2008 / 3 Idiots - 2009

- Decade's Highest Grosser as well as that time's All Time Grosser was given by Aamir Khan - 3 Idiots - 2009.

- Even Decade's TOP 2 films belong to Aamir Khan - Ghajini/3 Idiots

Salman on the other side was badly affected coz of his 2 court cases which happened post 1999, his career's the best year. Despite personal life's low phase, doing films for friends as favor, not being serous in picking films, casual attitude, he managed to keep himself in game & be there at No.3 Spot in this decade. Although last year of decade had 1 film Wanted, which bounced him back in this BO Game & he hasn't seen back after that. Wanted gave huge boom to Single Screens business in India.

Did you put this together? Your dedication to this is commendable.

That said, I personally don't care abt the figures. Both have their niche audience which seems to be pretty satisfied with their work.

PS. can never understand why One Two Ka Four flopped, that was a decent film. Juhi was amazing. Same with Chal Mere Bhai.

Swades flopped. people keep saying that was a good movie then how come it flopped.

and what was Salman thinking doing Marigold.

Thx Meena, it's BOI zindabad, i just compiled all together. One 2 ka 4 was Srk's that big commercial Disaster, ppl hoped it will be big as it had rahman music also. Rahman has given 11 films music in this decade which were Disaster @ BO. Only big thing for Rahman was Aamir films, Lagaan(Oscar) & Ghajini, which turned out to be huge ATG at that time. For Srk, Salman, 2 Disaster - One 2 ka 4, Yuvvraaj, 2 Flop for Srk - Dil Se(90's) & Swades, Salman - Dil ne jise apna kaha. Rahman was lucky for Aamir in 90's also, Rangeela being BlockBuster.

Swades, Dil Se kind of films were way ahead of their time, if released today it would have come in list of films like Lunchbox, Talvar, Queen getting Critical acclaim as well as some having success.

Salman's Marigold was his 1st Hollywood project, producers were Bidesi, director bhi bidesi, but it got delayed as many Salman films delayed in this decade. Wish Salman could have been more serious at that time like he is now, he won't be having these turkeys.

I loved swades ..the music ..story everything was top notch.. Lucky (no time for love) was my guilty pleasure movie.. I had watched it 5-6 times and salman looked so hot n the songs were so memorable .. I wish these two movies were hit ...n hum tumahre hain sanam had too much melodrama..glad its avg.

Thee last list should have been 1990-1999 as DDLJ srk biggest hit isnt included in that list which is quite unfair. Films like DDLJ, Baazigar may change the the result of 1990-1999 decade

I guess u love to tease me by acting all IGNORANT, if u see that thread, mentioned it so many times that BOI Has yet to update some films data, 12 Srk films including DDLJ, KA & 17 Salman films. I can assure you, Nothing can change 90's fate coz DDLJ was only biggest srk hit of that decade india wise, which is still below HAHK, only it would have added in hit list, nothing major it could have changed. HAHK is Baap of all movies in 90's. Every single record with that film.
