Swaragini Written Update: 1st January 2016

Episode begins with Ragini doing the announcement but Swara stepping in between and announcing that the lady who was said to be dead is actually alive. The lady (Kavita) comes out and seeing her everyone gets taken aback including Durga Prasad.
Swara goes to Ragini and says that she has had her loss and says that her game is over and points at Kavita. Kavita comes down in front of everyone. Dadi asks where is Kaveri. Kaveri just then comes out. Ragini as she comes says that she was the one who witnessed the crime happening and asks Kaveri to reveal the truth. Kaveri is numb...
Kavita says that she will reveal the truth and says that whatever Kaveri saw was not the truth but actually a misinterpretation. Kavita says that Durga Prasad did not murder her. She says that on the night a few goons had attacked her and left her in a critical state to die. She says that Durga Prasad had just came out to help her. Kavita further says that Durga Prasad was blackmailed by Kaveri as she had taken his snap shots. She mentions that Kaveri was greedy and for money she did all this. Kavita says that she was in a coma and says that after she woke up she found out that she had been locked up a hospital room. It is revealed that Kavita is Kaveri's daughter and Kavita says that she is disgusted by the fact.
Swara notices Sanskaar and calls him. Kavita hearing it turns around. Swara and Kavita both run but Swara stops on track as Kavita runs forward and hugs Sanskaar. Swara is in shock. Sanskaar says Kavita. Ragini recalls the moment of Sanskaar telling her about Kavita. Swara too recalls Sanskar saying he really loved Kavita. Swara reminisces the moment of her and Sanskaar and is shocked. Sanskaar has an eye on Swara's hand as she drops the nuptial necklace. (Sanskaar himself is in shock) Kavita thanks Swara and says she has no idea what she has done and says that she has united her with her love. Swara is just numb. Kavita says that they were college friends and says that they fell in love. Kavita says that they were so in love that they decided to get married by running away. Swara is in brink of tears. Kavita says that the family was against their marriage as she was a Bengali girl.
Durga Prasad reveals saying that he was mad at Sanskaar for what he had done...but is interrupted by Kaveri who says that Durga Prasad sent in the goons because of his fear of having his name tarnished by the society. Kavita tells her to stop with her nonsense and says to her to stop lying. Sanskaar notices a teary eyed Swara. Durga Prasad asks Sanskaar for forgiveness. and says that his thoughts were very much different back then. He also adds that he had no idea the society had sent in the goons. Kavita says that the society had nothing to do with the goons and says that they did not sent them. Kaveri says to stop talking nonsense, telling her to be quiet. Annapurna tells Kavita to not worry and speak up. Kavita says that it was actually her own mother who sent in the goons. Kavita says that she heard the truth when her mother was speaking to someone. Kavita says that her own mother played this big game with her. Kavita holds on to Sanskaar and says that it was due to Sanskaar's love that kept her alive. Sanskaar is just eyeing on Swara. Sharmistha goes to Swara and holds her hands.
The police comes in and says did Dadi did they call? Dadi whispers to Ragini saying she had invited the police to get Durga Prasad arrested. Kaveri whispers to Ragini that she is living the luxury life and all. Ragini and Dadi says to Kaveri that they did not know that the innocent was getting punished. Sujata tells Ragini to shut it and says that she has been selfish all along and says that it was for her own deed that she used the woman and says this is the difference between her and Swara. Sujata reveals saying that Dadi and Ragini blackmailed Durga Prasad and says that they got tormented [LOL Sujata was epic].
Kaveri says that she is right and says they (Dadi and Ragini) did what she did. Kaveri further reveals that they had paid her a lump sum to be here. The police says to Durga Prasad if he wants to get them arrested...Durga Prasad says that he does not wish to lodge a complaint. Sujata says but...Annapurna says that they will sort it out among themselves.
Kaveri noticing a knife on the fruit table grabs it and attacks Ragini with a knife. Laksh remembers the moment Ragini saved him. Everyone panics. Laksh sneaks from behind and grabs Ragini saving her and asking if she is aright. The woman get arrested... and the inspector thanks Laksh. Laksh takes Ragini's hands and takes her to Dadi while Ragini is just looking on.
Kavita goes to Swara and says that she has not been able to introduce herself and thanks her for what she has done. She says that she has to be thankful for what she has done. Kavita says that if she would have known that this was happening she would have come in ages ago. Kavita says what is reason what she is helping Sanskar and the family? She says despite of being a stranger why is she helping her. Swara is numb. Sanskaar reveals to Kavita that Swara is his wife. Kavita is shocked.

Swara is saying that Kavita is Sanskaar's 1st love and says how can she show her love for Sanskaar. Swara says that whatever decision of choosing whomever he wants Swara will agree to it. (*Flashes of Sanskaar and Kavita hug is shown*)
