Why do starkids avoid speaking about their parents?

I was watching this clip and realized across the board, most the starkids today avoid the limelight to avoid speaking about their parents.

I guess they don't want to talk about them to be a bit mor independent, most want to make it in the industry alone

At the beginning, he didn't even look interested in talking to the reporter but then he started talking just because he didn't want the world to know that he is rude. And then when it came to saif, he simply was smart enough to know what not to talk about and that basically also gave him an excuse to dump the reporter (which is what he wanted to do from the very beginning) by just pretending cute. So, no feelings got hurt and he got to get away from the reporter. That's called being diplomatically smart. The best way an arrogant person can hide their reality and avoid being with anyone they don't want to be with.

I think the parents might have also cautioned them of the press. Coz the press will try to get details out any way they can, even if it means asking the kids.

Starkids are definitely more conscious while talking to media and mostly they are instructed to by their parents as well. So its natural if they don't want to talk about anything related to their parents.

Their parents told them not to. I dont think stars want their kids to talk to media they can ask anything and they can say anything but some kids are all over the place Sridevi's daughters, Saif's son and Srk always putting pics of his kids

He is in the teenager phase where he doesn't want to talk about his parents. Wait for him to debut and we will get to hear all about his lineage from Pataudi to Tagore to maybe influenced by Step Mom too.
