POEM : Gone are the days ...

Gone are the dayz ...... is 1st line

I was able to release this poem on the last day it KK graced our TV sets in the U.S. but I'll post it here today.

Since today (Oct. 13) is also Kishore Kumar's 18th death anniversary, I included lines from his songs. This way it'll be a great tribute to Kishoreda and Kareena Kareena!

Gone are the days where IF traffic was high
When fans rush for the update of the day
In spirit of happiness, joy, sorrow, and best wishes
This poem will have everything I wish to say

Today, the last day on Zee
the home of Kareena Kareena
the last day we'll see
and say "tere bina bhi kya jeena!"

The one and only person
making us laugh more and more
the life of lies with love
She's Kareena! by: Kulraj Kaur

Avoiding a knot with Littu
She needed more time to stay
in Mumbai, the city of dreams,
and make her fate her own way

She thought about Chamatkar
a company manufacturing soap
But married she must be
otherwise, it's "nope! nope!"

"Good opportunities for success!
Why not tell my first lie?"
By a miracle, she became Mrs. Sood
and sent the show ratings to a high!

Far away from the magic of Chamatkar
dwells the waves of 111.1's sound
She auditioned last minute to air
Was loved by all and won: the RJ Crown

There you have it folks!
Running around the city
Secretary and RJ jobs
Talk about Overtime! What a pity!

Bored at Chatamkar, one day
Magic was sent by the light
Bumping into Tushar at a pose
It felt like love at first sight

(Tushar thinking)
Haan pehli baar
Haan pehli baar
Ek ladki mera haath pakad kar
boli...
(Niluji interrupts)
Kay Bolta?

Thus started the adventure
that made us laugh for a year
Seeing her live double lives
and fighting without fear

She had great friends,
Prem, Pat, Pammi, and Andy
they stood in happy days
and days that turned sandy

She had a wonderful family
Kanwal, Jiya, and Dadu
She had some lover-wannabes
Ranvir Raichand and Damu

Though Manjula, Lolo, and Lovely may come
They were out, after all evils they cast
Through many tests and trials, as destined
Tushar and Kareena are married, finally a last!

"ek mein aur ek tu
dono mile iss tarah
aur jo tan mann mein ho raha hai
YEH to hona hi tha!"

While going through a river
of ups, downs and sideways
this serial has now ended
with the crew gone aways

Kudos to India Forums for fans like us
Kudos to the whole Kareena Kareena crew
Yet Kishore Kumar says to forum and crew
Remember, friends! Never bid adieu

yeah Kishore_bhakta thts an excellent poem!.... all the episodes flashed in as a movie in our minds.. ur poem had all the emotions of kk from the happy days to the sad. just hope to keep in touch ad see Kulraj soon sometime again... and then v can say Back r the days! 😊
