Hi All,

If you find our website url a bit long then we are happy to share that now you can use our our official short url: http://IF.WS (ws = website). Two letter domains are premium and hard to get in today's time.

We would also be utilising this domain to provide Short Urls of the different links on our website and which would enable easy sharing on other social media where there are text limits in terms of character count. And at times its easier to send the short URL through SMS or dictate it over phone instead of using the more common and generic bitly service.

So try the following:

http://if.ws => http://www.india-forums.com

http://if.ws/tb => http://www.india-forums.com/tellybuzz

http://if.ws/bw => http://www.india-forums.com/bollywood

Cool.. isnt it (only if you remember 😊).

BTW that was not the only reason for this domain. 😊

The real advantage will be using this to keep a check on Link Spam as all the external Links posted on our site will be going through this service and our system will validate if its a safe link or not. Will be sharing more details on this when we are ready with a working program.

There are more exciting ideas that we are working on and we will keep you all updated on the latest developments from time to time..
