sach ka samna?

I don't understand why sach ka samna happens in the middle of that hall/room ( whatever it t is) with flowers beneath?
First thapki sach ka samna with vasu and now shradha sach ka samna with diwakar.

The only difference is that shradha eyes are opened after knowing the truth whereas thapki is still blind.
