Chuck out few screens, out of 3000 Screens (It is as per BOI), remove 50-100 Screens where initially some shows were cancelled, or 1 district Mangalore whole week was disrupted, add few more, let's say 200 Less Screens.
So Has Dilwale performed as per 2800 Screen released BIG Srk film on Xmas? Yes it has surpassed Don 2 released on 2850 Screens, any other film on this scale? NO, a Big No.
YJHD - 2900 Screens - NON-HOLIDAY - 178 Cr
BodyGaurd - 2750 Screens - 144 Cr - EID (1 Holiday)
Dabangg - 1800 Screens - 141 Cr - Eid (1 Holiday)
Now Dilwale's 2nd Weekend se Xmas Holidays has started which will last till Jan 5 (which is also holiday Gurpurab), more holidays than EID Holidays. Still it is chasing above 3 films NETT Total very badly.
Ticket PRICE has been raised since those above 3 films released, so count that also in consideration.
Only thing BOI saying for Dilwale from day 2 when collections started dropping, it is clash, not typical release, now on 2nd weekend, BOI is saying protest, cancellation of shows, then how come Dilwale even earned 115 Cr making it 3rd Highest SRK Grosser in just 10 days?
Controversy:
1. Jai Ho was hit badly coz of Salman's Saifai event & his meeting with MODI. Boycott was called for, negativity was circulated for that film in huge way. Now Srk fans blaming other fangroups for deliberately spreading negative for Dilwale?
2. PK also faced same controversy coz of content of film, posters n shows were disrupted. so shall we add more CR in it's final numbers which on some blogs 25-30 cr loss of Dilwale business indicated by some fans?
Overseas:
Dilwale is SRK's Biggest Film having 165 Cr Budget (BOI), Biggest OVERSEAS Release, still despite running HUGE in OVERSEAS what total is it chasing?
4. 3 Idiots - $25 M
5. MNIK - $22 M
will cross $19 M to finish at $20 M as per expectations. Now 2nd weekend Overseas indicates fall, but benefit was coz of xmas holidays (BOI). 1 Major circuit in overseas, USA/CANADA is not performing, now blame is given on MODI Fans out thr? Seriously? 268 Screens, more than Bajrangi Bhaijaan, release such huge & blame on audience?
Why not OVERSEAS of DILWALE is aiming for Top 3 positions? Why not Chase Bajrangi Bhaijaan's No.3 Total?
Overseas mei toh koi SHOW CANCEL Nahi hue, then why aiming to be at No.5 at best in final overseas collection? Why Not No.1?
Bajirao Mastani also faced same CLASH, Some PROTEST, released on 2650 Screens, if not SRK Standard, is Dilwale performing like BM?
Screens of Dilwale was reduced in 2nd week coz of LOW BUSINESS, not any PROTEST, if not to the best of Allotted opportunity for Release, what NEGATIVE has caused Dilwale giving this much poor performance?
