Rahul Vaidya records song for Krazzy 4
Ex-Indian Idol contestant Rahul Vaidya has recorded a song for Rakesh Roshan's Krazzy 4.
Reveals Rahul, "I recorded a song for the film last month. It is not for Hrithik Roshan. He is not doing a big role in the film. There are 3 heroes but I don't know on whom this song will be picturised."
Ex-Indian Idol contestant Rahul Vaidya has recorded a song for Rakesh Roshan's Krazzy 4.
Reveals Rahul, "I recorded a song for the film last month. It is not for Hrithik Roshan. He is not doing a big role in the film. There are 3 heroes but I don't know on whom this song will be picturised."
About how he got this opportunity, Rahul says, "Rajeshji's (Roshan) assistant knows me well. When he heard this song he told Rajeshji that my voice will suit it and then they called me. I went and sang it; they liked it and confirmed my voice for final recording."
Rahul is all praise for Rajesh Roshan. "He is a cool guy unlike some of the other composers. He allows singers to work in their own style. His music is very melodious. After all, he has worked with Kishorji, Lataji and all," he says, "Javedji has written the lyrics for the film."
Rahul explains it is very important for him to grab this opportunity, "I still want prove myself as a singer. I need more such openings and am still searching for that."
The singer has also started work on his second album. "I have recorded 5 songs for it. This album will have all kind of songs right from ones with a Bhojpuri touch to Sufi, club and all. Rajeev Bhatt has given music for this and lyrics are by Ajay Jingaran of bijuria fame."
Meanwhile, Rahul is also excited about his first show as a host Jjhoom India. Explaining the concept, he says, "It is an amazing show. The concept is entirely different. The first 3 jodis will get eliminated by public voting and then inter elimination is going to start. Sonu Niigaam has started this trend of a singer who becomes host. I think it is great for any singer to handle an entire show and prove that singers can also speak well. On the very first day I received compliments from Shekhar Suman and Shabanaji."
Rahul says he wants to launch his album when the show starts getting popular. Before this, Rahul sung for David Dhawan's Shaadi No 1.
