Part 2

Scene shifts to QM. Everyone gets up at 8am. After getn ready, they went to d dining table for breakfast. They were shocked dat d breakfast was not laid on d table.

"Where is dis girl?" asked Haseena furiously, "She did not kept d breakfast ready."

"How dare she?" asked Imraan angrily, "Luks like she forgot yesterday's beating."

"Nikhat," called Haseena loudly but no Nikhat came making them shocked.

"She did not came," said Chand shockingly n called loudly, "Nikhat. Come here."

Still she did not came.

"Nikhat. Come here right now otherwise we will not spare u," called out Imraan loudly.

"Why she is not cumn? Lets luk for her. Hope she has not fainted due to her pregnancy," said Haseena bitterly.

They started lukn for her but cud not find her.

"Some of her important things r not there along wid one of her suitcases n some clothes," said Imraan shockingly.

"It means she left d house," said Haseena shockingly.

"I think she may have gone to her house," said Chand shockingly.

Haseena was abt to call Rashid wen she saw Nikhat entering d house. D trio goes to her.

"Where d hell u went widout our permission?" asked Imraan angrily, "U even did not prepared food for us."

He was abt to slap her wen a male hand caught his hand. Imraan, Haseena n Chand were shocked to see Asad holding his hand wid anger in his eyes. Ayaan, Zoya n Najma were also there wid him.

"How dare u raise ur hand on my sister?" asked Asad angrily n punched him hard.

"U will pay for all ur mistakes," said Ayaan angrily n punched him.

Soon, both d brothers started beating Imraan badly. Haseena n Chand moved forward to stop them but Haseena was held back by Zoya n Chand by Najma.

"Plz, stop beating him. He is hurt very much," pleaded Haseena.

"U all hurt Nikhat so much but now u r hurt to see Imraan hurt," said Ayaan angrily.

"Lets do wat we r here for," said Nikhat n threw some papers on Imraan's face.

Imraan reads d papers n is shocked.

"Divorce papers," said Imraan shockingly.

"Yes, divorce papers. I can't live wid an abuser like u," said Nikhat in a strong voice.

"How can u divorce Imraan?" asked Haseena shockingly, "U r not doing right."

"Nikhat is right. Its better for Imraan to cooperate otherwise we will make u all live all ur lives in jail," threatened Asad.

D trio were scared wid his threat.

"Okay, I agree for divorce," said Imraan in a scared voice.

"Good. If u all do any drama then we will not live u," threatened Ayaan.

"U r all such monsters," said Zoya angrily.

"U all deserves to rot in jail," said Najma angrily.

They left 4m there leaving d trio shocked.

Scene shifts to SM. Gaffur gets a call 4m someone.

"No she is not here-Yes, we will talk to her-Don't worry, d divorce will not happen-Nikhat will return back in her sasural," said Gaffur as he talks to d person on d phone.

"Who called u & wat u were talking abt Nikhat?" asked Razia.

"Nikhat had left d house. She even filed for divorce," replied Gaffur unhappily, "We need to tell her to go back to her sasural."

Just then, Nikhat enters d hall. Ayaan, Asad, Zoya n Najma were outside d house so others thought dat only Nikhat came.

"Nikhat, wat I am hearing? Haseena called n told me dat u filed for divorce? Why did u do dat? Did u cared abt ur family's reputation?" asked Gaffur angrily.

"Mamu, its not mine but their fault. They always tortured me. They never treated me well," replied Nikhat sadly.

"Small fights happen between couples. U have to please ur husband n his family if u want to live happily in their family instead of going away 4m them," said Razia.

"Why don't u all understand dat I am not happy in dis house so I came here to live in my house," said Nikhat.

"A girl's real house is her sasural only so ur real house is Imraan's house. U sud go back there as its ur sasural. If u file for divorce then who will marry Nuzhat? People will think dat like elder sister younger sister too will leave them," said Shirin.

Nikhat was now angry wid d trio.

"Its no use of explaining all of u. U all only care abt ur family's reputation not my troubles n pains. Can't u all see d marks n bruises on my face n body? Imraan n his family were never nice wid me. Imraan even raped me many times to fulfill his needs. I was treated like a maid by them," said Nikhat angrily, "But u all still support them n want me to go back to dat hell. No. I will not go back to dat hell. And I will divorce Imraan."

"Nikhat, u will have to go," said Shirin angrily, "U can't accuse Imraan of raping u. He is ur husband so he has rights on u. U sud bcum a better wife n bahu to avoid their anger."

"I can't believe dat u r my mother cuz if u were my mother u wud not have said all these nonsense to me. I am leaving now," said Nikhat angrily n left d house.

Outside d house, she broke into tears. Asad, Ayaan, Zoya n Najma consoled her.

"Did u saw how they reacted?" asked Nikhat wid tears in her eyes.

"Nikhat, we r wid u," replied Asad in a soothing voice, "U will live wid us."

Ayaan went inside his house after some time while Nikhat went wid AsYa. Nikhat n AsYa tuk all of Nikhat's things 4m Imraan's house n went to KV.

Dilshad happily takes Nikhat inside by hugging her affectionately like a mother n kissing her forehead. Nikhat was moved by her affection even though being a step-mother.

"My own family is not supporting me," said Nikhat sadly.

"We r also ur family na. We will always support u," said Dilshad wid a smile.

"I want to luk for a job," said Nikhat.

"U can do dat after ur delivery," said Asad.

"Right now, u need rest," said Najma.

Scene shifts to Azaan entering his Bhopal office. Everyone greeted him. He greeted back at them. He went in his cabin n smiled as he sat on his chair.

"I wish I cud find dat video girl of which d chances r very less," said Azaan wid a smile.

He recalled how he saw a dancing video of a girl a year ago. D dancing video was none other than Nikhat's dancing video which was shown in d show during AsYa's sangeet. D video was taken by someone n made viral. Only Nikhat cud be seen in dat video as d video covered only her dance. Azaan came across dat video year n got attracted to dat girl. After some weeks, he forgot abt dat girl. But a year later, wen he decided to return to Bhopal dat girl came into his mind again. He watched dat video n smiled again lukn at d girl.

"Don't know why I am thinking a lot abt a random girl?" asked Azaan to himself, "Wat if she already has a boyfriend? Wat if she is married? Still, I wish I cud meet dat girl as she is 4m Bhopal n find abt her. If she is single then may be I have a chance wid her."

Scene shifts to KV. AsYa went to d office. Dilshad n Najma r takn great care of Nikhat. Nikhat is happy dat at least someone cares for her so much.

A month later, Nikhat had prematurely given birth to a dusky but beautiful girl in 8^th month. She lukd for job after d delivery. Imraan n his family r not happy wid a dark baby dat also a girl as they wanted a fair boy. They did not even came to meet Nikhat in hospital or went to meet d baby in KV as they did not wanted to meet a dark baby girl. They were informed by Shirin who visited Nikhat in hospital. Shirin tried to convince Nikhat to return to Imraan as her baby needs a father too but Nikhat did not agreed.

Afer some days, Nikhat goes to Azaan's office for a job interview as a dance teacher. Wen she enters Azaan's cabin for d interview, Azaan is drawn to Nikhat as soon as he sees her. He recognizes d girl as d girl in d video. He found her very beautiful.

"Sit down plz," said Azaan calmly.

Nikhat gave her folder to him.

"Sir, I am here to apply for a job of a dance teacher," said Nikhat.

"Miss Nikhat Ahmed Khan. U have not done final year of ur graduation," said Azaan going thru her folder.

He finally came to know her name. He wanted to be as normal n professional as he can widout letn her know abt his attraction for her. He saw her getn nervous.

"Sir, I did not knew dat for dis post I need to be graduated," said Nikhat nervously.

"Its not like dat. I was only saying wat I saw in ur folder. Why u did not completed ur graduation?" asked Azaan.

Nikhat became sad. Azaan noticed her expression changing.

"Its okay if u don't want to say," said Azaan softly.

Nikhat nodded her head.

"Well, we have to 1^st test u & other candidates before we hire. For dat, all candidates will get a chance to teach some students. Who will do more better out of dat 4 candidates will be hired 4m d 10 candidates dat came for d interview," said Azaan.

"Okay Sir," said Nikhat.

"Well, go n join other candidates in d auditorium. D candidates will be there. D selection will happen in 20 minutes," said Azaan.

"Okay Sir, thanks for giving me a chance," said Nikhat.

"All d best," said Azaan wid a smile.

"Thank u," said Nikhat n left d cabin.

Azaan smiled as she left d cabin.

"I wish Nikhat also gets selected," prayed Azaan.

D selection started. Nikhat taught d students on d song Punjabi Wedding Song. Everyone likes her dance. Azaan smiles being happy seeing her dance in person. A female head teacher, d general manager n Azaad selected her along wid 3 other candidates. Nikhat was very happy dat she got selected. D selectors congratulated d selected candidates. Azaan thanked God as he was very happy wid Nikhat being selected as one of d dance teachers.

Nikhat came home n gave d happy news to everyone. AsYa, Dilshad n Najma smiled n hugged her happily.

"We will celebrate by ordering food 4m outside," said Zoya wid a smile.

"Ayesha will be very happy," said Najma wid a smile.

Ayesha was d name of Nikhat's baby. She was sitting on d couch. Zoya picked her up n gave to Nikhat. Ayesha smiled at Nikhat.

"Ayesha baby, mamma got a job," said Nikhat wid a smile kissing her forehead.

Ayesha smiled again lukn at her wid her big round eyes.

"Ayesha is very happy," said Dilshad wid a smile.

"I can't believe I got a job in Azaan Mallik's company," said Nikhat wid a smile.

"Hope u always succeed like dis," said Dilshad wid a smile.

Nikhat calls Shirin n gives her d good news but to her shock Shirin was not happy.

"Nikhat, I can't believe u r working being a woman. U became like Zoya. 1^st u cud not luk after ur husband n in-laws n filed for divorce. And now u will work outside. Wat will people say to our family? U will give a bad name to our family," said Shirin unhappily.

"I did a mistake to call u," said Nikhat sadly n hung up.

Tears came in Nikhat's eyes.

"Wat happened, Nikhat?" asked Asad.

"She is not happy wid me getn a job," replied Nikhat teln them wat all she said.

Zoya wiped her tears n said, "U sud not be upset over dat. U sud be happy dat u managed to get job on our own. U will be now independent who can luk urself n Ayesha."

Nikhat hugged her emotionally. Zoya hugged her back.

"2 months r still remaining for divorce to be finalized," said Nikhat as she broke d hug.

"We r all wid u in dat," said Najma.

"We will do everything to get u rid of dat man n his family," said Asad.

Nikhat smiled in happiness at d support she is getn 4m her family.

# Imraan n his family starts getn jealous of her getn a job wid a good salary. Imraan once reaches her office n tries to persuade her to give him another chance n he will change but Nikhat does not agrees. Imraan in anger raised his hand to slap her but Azaan who saw everything stopped him 4m slapping n threw him out of his office building.

A/N: In DAK, the heroine was tortured, beaten and cheated by her husband. Still, her family told her to go back to him telling her that men makes mistakes in anger. Only her brother supported her in her family. Even though Azaan was attracted to Nikhat, he selected her like others without any favour or partiality as he was a normal professional person.
