It might be hard to digest but this sprightly eighth standard teenager, who's at the peak of her career, had a farewell party to herself on February,19.
Talking about reasons for turning her back to the golden lures of the industry, Hansika asserts, "It's a conscious choice. I've reached the peak of success and there's no further achievements I can make as a child artist.
At present I'm shifting my focus to studies as I'm in the eighth standard and being in an international school demands a lot of hard work."
Adds mother Mona, a hair and skin specialist, "My daughter's achievements has actually reached a saturation point. I never had the slightest intention of earning pots of money when Hansika happened to enter the showbiz."
It might sound as a fable but Hansika had her stint with the industry when she was picked up by Juhi Chawla for a film called Yahoo, which has not yet seen the lights of the day.
After that she never had a dearth of offers: ranging from advertisements of Bournvita, Coke, Onida, and Santro to films like Koi Mil Gaya, Jaago, Hawa, Hum Kaun Hai she has done it all with much ease and elan.
How different has life become for this most expensive child artist after moving away from the arc lights?
Says Hansika, "Believe me I'm very happy. I can spend quality time with my mom and brother now, which I could hardly afford to do because of my tight shooting schedules."
Well all you fans out there don't get disappointed this talented actress has promised to make a come back after three years. "I've intentions to hit the screen but no more of television for me. I'll only be acting in films and that too with reputed directors," chirps in Hansika.
I'm happy. Nothing personal, but she just annoyed me!😆
