I watch very select Hindi films... But from the ones I watched:

I was sorely disappointed by Katti Batti 🤢. It needed more of Kangana and a better screenplay. Nick made a fool of everyone.

In minority here but I didn't care for Tamasha either. It was one convoluted mess. 😕

Films I was DYING to watch but didn't because of the terrible reviews: Katti Batti + Shandaar
A film I had huge expectations of, although i enjoyed it somewhat, I was disappointed with: Tamasha.
And of course there was: Dilwale.

Dilwali. I think with the star cast I expected even if the movie was a rohit shitty movie that it would be still good coz of the actors. Bt from varun to kajol to srk they were very disappointing when it came to the actinf department. Prem well I had very low expectations for it I didn't even like the songs much when it came out so watching it I thought it was much better than I would have expected. And then Phantom I expected it to be good couldn't watch 20 min of the movie properly. And tamasha just didn't look like something I would watch so not surprised it didn't do well. I have good taste lol

IMO

DDD - I thought it will be better than crap ZNMD but it was enjoyable only in parts.. Wished PC/Ranveer/Farhan had more screenspace..
Shaandaar - I honestly had very high expectations because its after Queen for Vikas and Haider for Shahid.. Although Shahid was good, it wasnt a film and role I would be proud of.. Especially giving his career best in Haider, I honestly thought he finally woke up.. Still cant blame him, Vikas's script was such..
Katti Batti - Again because it had Kangy after a humongous success in TWMR, I guess I expected too much being a fan..
Tamasha - Snoozefest.. Should have not done the film at all.. Deepika's absence for majority of second half was a huge let down.. Promoted as a love story, came out as coming of age.. If not for the music, wouldnt want to talk about this film ever again..
NH10 - Im most likely to be in a minority here, but I never got the hype surrounding this film and Anu's performance.. It was so raved by IF members here that I decided to watch one day and I was disappointed.. Doesnt deserve to be called this year's Lootera.. Lootera is so special..
Bombay Velvet - It was a nightmare.. I had almost forgiven Ranbir for Roy and Besharam.. This totally made me dislike him..
Roy - Another disaster.. I walked out of theatre..
Havent watched the two supposedly biggest disappointments according to IF members, Dudwale and Prem Ratan Dud Payo..

Bombay velvet is the most horrible movie I have ever watched.🤢 It had horrible cast, pathetic script and worst dialogue delivery. The director and the actors were fully horrible.😡

My biggest disappointment was Detective byomkesh bakshy.
I hope Dibakar Bannerji bounces back.

All others were exactly what the trailers promise..no surprises there.

And..Actresses making a comeback..not understanding the giant steps the current actresses have taken in their performances.

TOTAL FAIL.

Deepika as Mastani was the biggest disappointment from an actor. I mean why did she even do the film?
Dilwale as a film disappointed me...though performances of the actors didnt. Also expected better from certain films like DBB, BV, Shandaar when they were announced.
