In Mumbai.
"Good morning everyone"
"Good morning" said Appa, amma and vanditha Ishitha's bhabhi.
Bala was busy in his phone checking his emails.
"Anna..." shouted Ishitha.
"What happened Ishu? Why are you shouting early in the morning?" said Bala annoyed.
"I said Good morning everyone"
"Oh. Good morning teacher"
"Teacher? "
"Yeah in my school all teachers use to say Good morning everyone" said bala laughing.
"Arrrgh"
"Ishu kanna where are you going today?"
"Where else amma. I'm going to the set as usual. And yes I'll go to universal school today for some work as well". And she hurriedly had her breakfast and said "I'm going. Bye. "
"This girl will never change" said amma making faces.
Ishitha was the daughter of Mr. Vishwanathan Iyer and Mrs. Madhavi Iyer. Mr. Iyer was a well known businessman in Mumbai while Mrs. Iyer was a housewife but helped her husband to the fullest in his business as well.
Bala Iyer was Ishitha's elder brother who was 32 years old and Vanditha Iyer was his wife. Bala was a successful architect while vandu was a college lecturer.
Ishitha was the most loved one in the house. But as Mrs . Iyer's brother a drunkard wanted to make Ishitha marry his son of 24 years when she was just 10 years old they decided to send Ishitha to Delhi with her aaya. The Iyer family hated Mrs. Iyer's brother as they had to send their only daughter away from them for her safety. After sometime Mrs. Iyer's nephew who was equally a drunkard like his father died in an accident. But Ishitha continued her studies in Delhi.
Eventhough far away from family Ishitha was loved by them a lot and Ishitha never misused her freedom in Delhi. Infact she studied well, did sports equally well. She also did dancing and music and enjoyed her school life a lot. While schooling Ishitha wanted to study about the field of choreography apart from being a dancer and she became a successful choreographer before school ended.
She was enrolled to do 2 degrees in Delhi but as she wanted to spend sometime with her family she went to live with her parents for some months in Mumbai and joined a tv serial as it's official choreographer while doing dance items for school children free of charge.
In Delhi
"Good morning Raman"
"Good morning Maa. Didn't papa come yet? "
"No he said he's coming in the evening. You go to office"
"Ok Maa"
"What will you have for breakfast?"
"Anything made by you maa "
"Hehehe ok. Here is your favourite aloo ka parantha "
"Hmmm. This is so tasty"
"Bhai drop me to college today" shouted Simmi.
"Bhai drop me to school today" shouted Romi.
"Why your'll see me as a transport service?"
"Arey we have only one elder bhai. If we don't tell him whom else will we tell"
"Ok ok let's go"
Raman was the son of Mr.Om Prakash Bhalla and Mrs. Santhosh Bhalla. Mr.bhalla was a well known businessman in Delhi while Mrs.Bhalla was a housewife. Simmi Bhalla was raman's only sister who was 21 years old and was a college student. Romi Bhalla was Raman's younger brother who was still schooling in 12th grade.
Raman Kumar Bhalla was the CEO of Bhalla group of companies now. He was 23 years old but he completed his studies really fast as he did the London exams. By the year of 21 he completed his MBA and joined their company and became the CEO due to his hard work 6 months back.
Mr. Bhalla who was in Mumbai went to meet Mr. Iyer to his office, Iyer Industries.
"Arey Om. I thought you went to Delhi after yesterday's party"
"Yes Vishwa. I was going to go. But wanted to meet my childhood friend and also talk to you about something"
"Oh how lovely is that Om. Let's go to my house nuh. We can talk freely there"
"No Vishwa. My flight is in 2 hours. I have to go"
"Oh ok. So what did you say you want to talk to me about? "
"Vishwa yesterday was the first time I saw your lovely daughter. What's her name? "
"Oh she's my princess Ishitha." And he told him about everything that happened and why Ishitha stayed in Delhi alone.
"So where is that boy and brother?"
"The boy died in an accident and madhu ' s brother is in Chennai. We don't talk to him anymore"
"That's good"
"So what do you have to say? "
Vishwa after hearing to what you said I don't know whether I'm doing right by asking this from you"
"What Om? Just tell"
"Actually I came to ask your daughter's hand for my son Raman. But before deciding I'll tell you one thing. Raman is really a good boy. I'm not saying it as he's my son. But he really is. He will take care of Ishita well. Now he's the CEO of our company. He's very young but I want him to be settled. Ishitha can complete her studies after marraige. But I won't force you Vishwa "
"What are you even asking Om? Of course I know Raman is a good boy. I definitely agree. Even madhu was talking about getting her married. I'll talk to Ishu and arrange everything"
"Ok Vishwa. Then I'll go now. I'll talk to Thoshi ji and Raman about this too " and he went.
Mr. Iyer came home and asked "Madhu did Ishu come? "
"Not yet Vishwa. She went to Universal school today for something"
"Oh. She always loves helping children. How good is our Ishu"
"Yeah Vishwa. Hope we can find a good life partner for her as well"
"Madhu there is one. A very good one"
"Really Vishwa. Who is it? "
And then he told her the conversation with Mr. Bhalla and she was so happy.
"Vishwa you talk to her today"
"Ok madhu I will"
Everyone was having dinner in the iyer house when Mr. Iyer started taking.
"Ishu I have to talk to you about something"
"Yeah appa. What? Did amma trouble you again? "
"Ishu be serious please" said amma angrily.
"Ok sorry. Continue appa"
"Ishu we got a proposal for your marraige. The boy is really good. We want you to marry him. You can decide after his visit day after tomorrow"
"What is this appa? You know that I'm still studying. What's the hurry for marraige? I don't want to see anyone. Ask them not to come"
"Ishu is this the way to talk to your appa? You know we did everything for you. Can't you do something for our happiness as well? "
"Amma please. I'll do anything for your happiness but not this. I lived alone for 10 years away from your'll. I made myself busy always so I won't keep on missing your'll. But I never complained. So now please not this"
"Ishu beta please" said appa with tears filled in his eyes. "I know we kept you away from us for so long. But all that was for your safety. You lived alone all these years but not anymore. This boy is really good. Meet him once please"
Ishitha felt sad for shouting at her parents. So she hugged them and said "Ok I will. But promise me if I don't like him your'll won't force me"
"Ok promise"
"Ok drama queen now eat. You should have become an actress not choreographer "
"Anna..."
"Bala..." said vandu.
"Offo these two will kill me one day soon with these stares only. You two always make a team against me"
Mr. Bhalla came home and asked "Thoshi ji did Raman come home? "
"Not yet Bhalla ji. His brother and sister is troubling him a lot. Poor Raman "
"Raman is a good son, good brother thoshi ji"
"Yeah Bhalla ji. He will be a good husband one day as well. Hope soon he gets his life partner"
"I have a girl in my mind"
"Please bhalla ji. Don't you ever talk about that girl"
"Which girl?" asked Mr. Bhalla shocked.
"That shagun. They have so much of money. Don't know why she always wears less. She's not good for my Raman "
"Oh ho Thoshi ji. I'm not talking about her. Even I don't like her. I'm talking about Vishwa ' s daughter" and he told everything to her.
"Bhalla ji is she beautiful? And is she well mannered? "
"Yeah Yeah Thoshi ji. She matches your list well. She's much better than that. I brought a photo of her. Here"
"Bhalla ji she looks like an angel. She will definitely be my DIL"
In the dining table Mr. Bhalla said "Raman I want you to get married"
"Papa what are you saying? Why so soon?"
"Look Raman as parents we like to see our children settled. Your our elder son. So I have selected a nice girl. We'll visit them day after tomorrow"
"But papa"
"Raman please don't say no. This is my wish. Please do it for my happiness "
"Ok papa. But of I don't like the girl promise me your'll won't force me"
"Ok promise"
Raman went to his room lost in his thought. No I can't do this. I love Ishitha. I'll go to see her tomorrow. I'll confess my feelings to her and if she rejects I'll go to see this girl"
Next day morning Raman went to Ishitha's flat in Delhi. It was locked from outside. He asked from her neighbour to which they said that she has gone to stay with her parents.
Raman went home sad. Thoshi came and asked "Raman why are you looking stressed? Do you love someone? Is that why you were looking stressed after papa told about marriage yesterday?"
Raman thought for a while and said "No maa. Nothing like that"
"Ok then. I brought you something"
"What's this? "asked Raman confused looking at the envelope in her hand.
"This is the photo of the girl" and she went.
Raman didn't want to see it but just opened it and got shocked to see that it was Ishitha.
"Ishitha. This is my Ishitha. I don't know whether you remember me or not. But I love you. I'm so happy today. Thank you matarani. Hope Ishitha will be mine forever" said Raman kissing her photo.
