Dilwale has had better collections than BM each day since their releases except for monday (atleast according to Taran Adarsh). Dilwale is still well ahead of BM in overall business.

So DW is still ahead of BM contrary to whats posted on the forum.

Even on Tuesday DW(9.42) made slightly more than BM (9.40), inspite of all the negative campaigning and Sena protests and shutdowns.

Worldwide its made HUGE collections in UK, UAE, Malaysia, Pakistan, Australia etc and still going very strong!

Because BM is smaller film compared to Dilwale, it was supposed to be EATEN ALIVE

D was released in many more screens and still its weekdays are similar to BM

In its capacity, BM has performed far better than Dilwale

And the biggest of all - BM has entertained people more and is a far better film - going down as a classic in the history while Dilwale will be (IF) remembered as an under performer BAD film.

Nobody is acting like that. People are just celebrating the classic ab aya uth pahar se neeche moment. Everyone knows BM hasn't won anything yet. It's just that it hasn't crashed and burnt, nor has Ranveer's career been destroyed as predicted by the rishi munis of this forum. 😆

It's insane.

Okay BM has done good. But everything clearly states Dilwale is wayyy ahead!

And also the budget is almost same for both!

I don't see BM winning in anyway!

Simple. No one wants to see SRK ahead in the game. So they'll go against that. :/ I think it's pretty evident that most people dislike and even hate SRK. They are hell bound and can't see his films doing well, so they'll bring out the better in the other film/star cast. It's the way this forum has always worked of late.

Having said that, BM had the stronger script and story line. Dilwale was weak in that aspect. Also Sanjay > Rohit as a director, imo. Both movies had their share of positives and negatives.

Taran's reporting looks shady to me.

On Monday he said Dilwale collected 10.09 cr. 10.09. When every website said it collected lesser, he tried to give an impression that it collected in double digits.

And for Tuesday he's reporting that Dilwale collected 2 lakhs more than BM, just to show the world that Dilwale isn't doing badly and isn't losing to BM.

This is just my opinion.

How is it a smaller film when it's made on a bigger budget?

And wasn't the number of screens 60/40 in favor of dilwale? That's not many more if you also consider that many screens didn't show it because of protests.
