You guys are already excited about seeing Akshay Kumar as the baddie in Rajinikanth's Robot 2 (Akshay Kumar joins Rajinikanth in Robot 2, December 16).

Here's another piece of news that will blow your mind away.

We hear, Akshay is being paid a whopping Rs. 25 crore for the Shankar-directed film (yeah, we'll give you a moment to digest that). This is in complete contrast to Airlift where he is reportedly not charging a single penny but taking 80 per cent share of the profits.

Coming back to Robot 2. It is likely to be India's most expensive film till date, with its budget estimated to be anywhere between Rs. 250-300 crore.

He is taking 80% share of the profits for Airlift??? Wow .. really 80%? 80%? .. I can't stop being shocked. 80% is like a huge huge huge deal. He is one of the producers of this film. Basically T-Series is producing it. I hope Akshay has put in at least 40% of his own money in the film. I mean it will be very unfair if T-Series has put in 100% of the money and Akshay will take away 80% of the profit. I understand that he has not charged any fee but still 80% on profits is too very much.
