One thing common with all Desi soaps, JR included is the use of damn BDs during scenes between lead pairs. Yes there are times when BDs need to be incorporated into scenes due to non availability of ML or FL. That is understandable. Sometimes it can't be helped. However, CVs should refrain from using them during romance in particular because it ruins the total feel of that moment. Fans cannot connect with it because they know full well that their favourite jodi has not been a part of it. Hence there is no spark.
Take for example the Tumhe apna banane ka junoon sequence. That could have turned out into something quite memorable. The CVs could have extended it with more playfulness and teasing between SidNi. But it was wasted with the use of BD. When you know either one of your star performers is not there, isn't it better to alter the script, and to wait for your lead pair to come back? That way good scenes will not be wasted on BDs and the fans will be able to fully enjoy their favourite jodi without cribbing or complaining.
Another issue I have with JR CVs is the amount of screen space given to Shabnam. If this is all leading up to her end then fair enough. But to have her taking up maximum footage is mind boggling. This trend started way before the use of BDs, so CVs cannot use this as an excuse. Please CVs. Kindly go over the amount of screen space you are providing to vamp and leads. It is disproportianate at present.
