Box Office: Smashing First Day Collection For Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale

Bollywood film Dilwale' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead role has finished its first day run at the box office impressively. The film was expected to collect Rs. 20-30 crores net approx and it has done the same by becoming the front runner in most of the regions in India. Dilwale' has got a collection of Rs. 22 crores net approx (Rs. 220 million) on its first day which is a very good number despite the clash with Bajirao Mastani'. As predicted earlier the film has performed better in Northern regions as well as some parts of South where a film likeBajirao Mastani cannot sustain.

Dilwale' has got massive response from South India as well as East India with areas like Andhra, Mysore, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Orissa showing lot of activeness due to the Shah Rukh Khan star factor. Especially the Delhi and UP regions has performed the best for Dilwale' as its competition had no hold on these sectors despite having the best screens. The great opening rates managed to give a boost to the first day collections.

Dilwale' had an occupancy of 65% approximately which is very strong and the film comparatively did great in all the regions except some regions in Mumbai and Pune. Dilwale'also had good advance collections spanning throughout the weekend. The advance collection of Rs. 11 crores has been 50% for Friday and the rest for the remaining weekend. The same has also become an adding factor for the film's first day collection.

Dilwale' naturally has an upper hand here with more star power as the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Director Rohit Shetty also has comparatively more credibility for giving entertaining films that audiences usually prefer over historic ones like Bajirao Mastani'. After the great opening, we look forward to seeing the first weekend collections of the two films.

So here it goes...it's hard but i will try not to spoil the movie for those of you who didnt see.

Well, let me start with hall was full and I'm a fool cuz i went without booking ticket, and history repeated itself and i cldnt get in.

I didn't wanna come back and BM already started so i watched Star Wars (which i surprisingly enjoyed)

Movie started with a dream or rather a nightmare, SRK's entry, he wakes up from the dream and he's just sad...few minutes into the movie we get a glimpse of why he's sad.

The story of the movie lies in that, movie does have a story but the execution is a little weak i felt, anyways Varun's entry with quite a style comes, soon after he meets Kriti who he just falls in love with, he tries everything to woo her, mostly lies 😆 anyways Varun ends up in fight with guys who work for the great king, which comes back to hunt him...them guys comes prapred and beat the shit the hell out him.

There we get another entry (my fav) Kaali.❤️

I don't wanna reveal the whole story but the movie had a great one had it been handled better, it had comedy, action, romance.

I forgot that i was watching a RS film, it gave that old BW feel (by old i mean 2000s Lol) there was no cars flying unnecessary, actually I don't think I have seen any cars flying or blowing unnecessary (I don't know what KRK was talking about) comedy was good, people were laughing like crazy in there, sometimes we were claping from the laughter.

Forgive me I don't know them guys names, only Johny Level.

But all were great, they will make you laugh, Bonam sir was the least funny, Varun was absolutely adorable, his comic timing is too good.

And him and SRK were just great together, they have a chemistry (I love bromance hehe) Kriti was good, she actually had good screen present..and she acted well, she have a good chemistry with Varun although sometimes she seemed taller than him Lol.

Then come Kajol, let me tell you something everyone in that hall just started clapping and cheering when she first come on screen, i thought to myself she shld do more movies, she looks better than ever, and she acts even better, my only complaint is we didn't see much of SRKAJOL together in the same frame, and she had kinda small roll, another complaint i have their love story was rushed, there was no build up especially from Meera's side, Kaali is smitten with her at the first sight itself, but her falling for him was rushed, i didn't feel it. But once her feelings are make known you can feel it.

And now last for the best of course, Mr. Shahrukh Kha, I fall in love with him all over again, he was really really good, he led two lives for so long, but he is so calm and collected, that's cuz there's a lot of sadness in him, although he was brought up by a gangster he's so soft and forgiving...i mean when Meera wrongs him, he just forgives her in the blink of the eye, where her on the other hand takes forever.

SRK was good, he was good, the man can act when he's not messing arnd, okay now the part where i drool..he was so handsome [<-8] and he carried himself well in the movie...i just cldnt take my eyes off him,(although sometimes I didnt like his walk 🤣)

Do i even need to say about SRKajol ka chemistry?? Its very much there. ❤️ And you will feel every time they are in the same frame.

Song were great best of 2015, gerua the video on the big screen is whole different story, I absolutely loved it. I didn't like much when it frist come out, i mean the video, there's a hidden song and it's absolutely love.

Sad but love.

Anways i enjoyed the movie a lot and i didn't need to leave my brain behind, cuz there's no scene that didnt make sense..i mean not even one.

I hope i didn't ruin the movie for you guys.
