Why I Favor Maddy Over Raj

Besides the many hundreds of obvious reasons that I and anyone can support Maddy over Raj, I chose one more out of today's episode. It came near the end... where Raj said he is in the same situation now where Maddy was a year ago.. he only saw half of the truth and still gave his statement. I feel that this reasoning is ludicrous... Maddy did the right thing by abiding to the court laws and abiding to "mai jo kahoo ga sach hi kahuga.. sach ke alawa kuch nahi kahooga (whatever I say, I will only the truth and I won't say anything else besides the truth)" It was the fault of the incompetent judicial system in the show and bribed inspectors that Raj went to jail and did not get justice... It was in no way Maddy's fault plus.. what half truth did he even see... he asked her to frame him... he didn't see him half-rape or abuse her at all... its honestly half-truth vs complete lie which is no where close to the same thing... Also is he really forgetting the fact that if he really wanted to get Koyal.. he wouldn't have saved Raj when he too got accused of rape on Paro's instructions.. instead what did he do? He scolded Paro for doing this and wished that Rayal be together...

I don't know what you guys think but Raj is the same shoes as Maddy was a year ago.. but not when he gave a court statement regarding Shubho's death.. but when he falsely got accused of rape... Let's see if Raj does what Maddy did as a good friend or not.. and you decide for yourself who you then root for...

Completely agree with you . Raj is no where close to Maddy. Raj just wants to achieve by hook or crook but Maddy knows to give very selfless. I hope koyal shows Raj right path.

Maddy in tat murder track acts truthfully and he was trapped & nthng can be blamed on him i agree!!

and yeah Raj is in Maddy's place now, bt along with the pain which caused bcz of Maddy, who accused him wrongly & Raj was in jail for an year bcz of maddy, he lost his love,dnt knw wat hpnd with his parents. so we cant compare their situations!! and any Human in Raj place will behave lyk this only!!

Maddy can be gud at heart!! unintentionally he is responsible for Raj lyf to get destroyed(u can say Maddy was trapped and he didnt done tat intentionally, bt smhw Raj's whole lyf got destroyed bcz of him & tat single incident)

even Koyal believed Raj cn be a murderer jzt bcz Maddy was there as witnessed orelse she might nvr MU Raj

so please dnt compare them & their situation!!

Woah... I did not say I hated/disliked Raj.. I just prefer Maddy over Raj not talking about Mayal or Rayal itself either.. just the two individual characters.. I am not comparing them either.. I am just critcizing the fact that Raj compared the two situations and I completely agree with everything you said.. I made this to prove that the comparison is unreasonable and so his reasoning for doing this to Maddy would also be unreasonable..

Sorry but I disagree with you just on one part.. I would not do what Raj did in the same situation.. I know its easier said than done so its better not to delve into the could's and would's.. but after Maddy himself insists you to go with Koyal.. its clear he does not want to steal his love plus.. Maddy just said what he saw.. he even said "I don't know what happened before or after what he saw" Koyal still believed his half-story which was bad on her part and he was jailed wrongly by the judge just on half-truth which is again their fault... Raj is punishing Maddy for telling the truth which I feel is unfair because it was incompetence in the justice system in his town that really destroyed his life more than anyone else...

Its very true that no one... no one is perfect.. not even Maddy and finally I never once said Raj is "wrong"

Completely agree with you. I too prefer Maddy.
