Still can't believe Kareena Kapoor got nominated for her role as Poo at Filmfare (among others). She stood out like a sore thumb:

Jaya Bachchan - K3G (a stellar and highly emotional performance)

Madhuri Dixit - Lajja (a stunning and flawless performance)

Preity Zinta - Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (a daring and bold performance)

Rekha - Lajja (a triumphant and explosive performance)

Kareena Kapoor - K3G (an embarrassing and cringeworthy performance in a role that wasn't central to the plot at all, you could easily delete 80-90% of her scenes and it would not affect the film's storyline)

Jitesh Pillai's obsession with her was truly shameful. Especially at the expense of other great performances that year: Rekha (Zubeidaa), Mahima Choudry (Lajja), and even Rani Mukerji (K3G) was more impressive.
