Deepika Padukone reacts to Tamasha's box-office failure

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were recently in Delhi for the promotions of their upcoming film, 'Bajirao Mastani'. During a candid chat with Deepika, we asked her to comment on Tamasha's box-office failure.

Before she could begin answering the question, we told her that we had liked the film and wished that it could have done a better job at the box-office. The diva replied, "For me, right now sitting here, the very fact that you said that you liked the film, for me, is box-office success. I am not an actor who has ever been involved with numbers. I never have; I never intend to. So, for me, if you are sitting here now and telling me that you, as an audience, are disappointed that the film did not make numbers because you genuinely liked the film, I have done my job. What more does an actor want!"

The actress, when further asked to comment on Ranbir Kapoor's career graph, was quick to reply, "You have to ask him about his career. I don't think I have any right to be sitting here and commenting on his career and life."
