Story not following time

It seems that the show Ravan hasn't been going in time order. Random facts are being displayed at random times. The story is jumping from one time period to another.

Currently, they are showing the incident with Sahastrarjun.....Earlier, they showed that Ram was born, and was already a teenager.........

In reality, Sahastrarjun died LONG BEFORE ram even existed. After killing Sahastrarjun, Parshuram made the earth kshatriya-less 21 times.......even during this time, Ram wasn't born yet.......

Also, Sahastrarjun's death occurred long before the Dev-Asur sangram in which Dasarath fought. Like.......LONG BEFORE..........By the Dev-asur sangram, Ravan's son, Meghnad, was already sixteen.....however, at the time parshuram defeated sahastrarjun, meghnad was nonexistent.......

This is sort of like the show Om Namah Shivay.......in which the facts are shown in any random order.....actually, this show is even more extreme than Om Namah Shivay.....

"In reality" ? Ah but do we really know what happened in reality? This is mythology we are talking about not hard facts. How much of the myths are literally true? We don't know. How much is pure addition and how much is exaggeration? Again we do not know. There are many myths about Sahastrarjun for instance. Some contradict the others. So which is true, if any? We do not know. All we can do is interpret the myths in one way or the other. The writer of this serial has interpreted them in a novel way. Perhaps he is trying to give a realistic spin to the myths rather than showing people who supposedly live(d) for insanely long times? Or maybe he found some alternate versions and adapted them? We can't make any judgement until he tells us exactly what his sources are and - more importantly - why made these choices. 🤔
