Look who is playing Indrani Mukerjea' on Television

After a couple of films that were recently announced, now an episode in the TV show 'Agent Raghav' will be loosely based on the Sheena Bora murder case. And actress Suchitra Pillai will play a character inspired by 'Indrani Mukerjea' in it.

She says, "It is about a murder mystery in which the mother is the prime suspect, but everyone else involved are also suspects. So I don't feel there is any resemblance to the real case. Earlier, I was offered a role opposite Sharad (Kelkar) which didn't materialize. Finally, we are working together."

The infamous Sheena Bora murder case became a talking topic when the news hit the web and the accused Indrani Mukerjea, mother of the victim was arrested for the murder of her daughter.

The case sparked a lot of interest and two films based on the case have already been announced. Now, according to a leading news entertainment portal, an episode on the lines of the murder case is set to air on the show, Agent Raghav.

Actress Suchitra Pillai has been assigned to play the role of the accused in the episode which is said to be on the lines of Indrani Mukerjea.

Commenting on the same, she tells, "The name of Indrani Mukerjea wasn't even mentioned in the narration of the role, its just because of the resemblance of the fact where the mother is the prime suspect, the story is linked with the case, but there are other characters in the episode who are suspects too."

She went to add, "It was a wonderful experience to work the actors on the show and the director with whom I have previously worked on an episode on Adaalat too, so we had an understanding and rapport on the same. After an assignment that didn't materialise, I finally got a chance to work with Sharad Kelkar which was great as he is very talented and a great person to work with."
