Mahismati???

I always knew that Sahastrarjun was the King of Mahismati, but there is one thing that I still don't know:

Where exactly is Mahismati? Where would Mahismati be in present-day India???

He next entered the Dan?d?aka forest and went to the river Reva, along which the city of Mahis?mati is found. Then He bathed at Manu-tirtha and finally returned to Prabhasa.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu next arrived at the banks of the river Tapi. After bathing there, He went to Mahis?mati-pura. While there, He saw many holy places on the banks of the river Narmada.

I myself don't know anything so lets hope some knowlegeable ppl repply, lol.
