Read it on wiki that some texts mention this theory. Well I don't wanna debate but showing this will turn whole story of ramayana upside down. Hope CVs won't show this.

I am 75% sure they will show this, because Anand Neelkanthan is one of the consultants of this show and in his book "Asura", which is about Ravan, he writes Sita being Ravan's daughter.

I have read and heard about Sita being Ravan's daughter. She kidnapped her from the forest and took her to Lanka since he didn't want his daughter to strain herself in the forest he took her to his place and kept her safe. I have also read that Ravan was collecting the blood for some yagna and when he was away on for meditation, without knowing the truth of that, his wife Mandodhari drank it and the result is a baby girl and since she could not have the daughter with her, she packed that child in a box and let that float in the sea. The box reached Mithila and got into the land where king Janak was preparing the land for some yagna and that is how Sita is was Raavan's daughter and she was also a look alike of Mandodhari. The only difference was some lines (rekha) on their feet while Sita had a line which resembled lotus, Mandodhari had a line which resembled Crow. This resemblance is mentioned by Hanuman while he first went to Lanka in search of Sita maa.

ACC to some mythologists it is... but I am not sure how it will turn the story on its head. wasn't ravana actually a very pious person, who was mahadeva's biggest bhakt..?...and in his previous lives was one of shri Vishnu's most trusted sevak ? he did some sin and to repent for it he had to be borne as a human on earth to repent for it, and lord Vishnu himself would come to give him mukti..he was given the option of either taking seven births as a friend or 4 births as a foe...he chose 4 births as a foe as it would be quicker...so then if SITA is his daughter, how is it a bad thing?
