Guys, here is the update of the int on Red Fm. He had been int by the same Fm Station last year. N fortunately i had had time off frm work so i could tune in. n of course the Rj kept harping ..that rajeev was gonna come to the studio n anyone who wishes to meet him can come over..they were gonna cut a big cake n celebrate ..
Am no gud at updating...so kindly bear with this....
It started with the RJ welcoming rajeev at the studio n then questioned him on why he was carrying with him 6 cell phones..yup...6...rajeev in turn replied that one belonged to his driver..one to his man friday..one no. he has given to his fans..one is his personal ..in a nut shell it seems that the phones belonged to his staff...which he was attending to...i missed the bit where the rj pulled rajeev's leg abt this..
He was asked by the RJ abt the spl. no. Rajeev said that there is a no. that he gives out every yr..to his fans who can call n speak to him...n was asked to disclose the No. but rajeev was reluctant n said that time is up..people could call me on this no. only uptill 12 noon so now they have to call me on the RedFm No. n speak to me..Then was the part where the rj said that rajeev was having a whale of a time last night..the rj had spoken to him at 2.30 am n rajeev said yes..his frendz had come over...was asked obv..abt his most special gift that he had received..rajeev said that 3 girls landed up at his place at wee hours of the morning ..n what was amazing is they had come all the way frm Ajmer..he was like for these girls to actaully come down to mumbai n locate my address to see me...all the way frm Ajmer..
Then there was a bit abt his plans for the day..he'll spend it with his fans who come over every yr n all..n go out for dinner with frendz..The rj asked rajeev abt his address..where exactly..n obv..rajeev had no intention of disclosing it ..they joked abt this..anyways next part was abt the formula for Bakwas film ..he replied foremost u need a bakwaas script..then bakwaas actors..director..n throw in bakwaas music..n u will also have a bakwaas set of audience who will watch it...lol..that was funny but he com on how a director can make a film wrk..even with a bakwas script..
Next was a q'..on what goes on behind the scenes in the name of Dandiya...RJ asked him the that besides Dandiya what goes on..n rajeev said Garba..lol..rj was No..u know all that is happening kids going to pubs n all n rajeev replied that he had read in the papers on how parents have hired detectives to keep track of their kids..n was asked that whether he induldged in any of these things in earlier days..he was pl..don't ask me to lie...lol...but anyways he said that now he no longer plays n all but yes earlier there were no restrictions ..as in the 10 pm deadline...so yeah..we would also go for dandiya n take off somewhere..
Then was a q abt the traffic probs in a city like Mumbai..n whether office timings should be changed as in to 10 n then next 12 ..rajeev was No..12 is too late n just said that no matter how much we may change timings..arnd here ..traffic will always be a prob..unless there are better roads n traffic sense doesn't prevail..it wouldn't make a diff...
Next he was asked abt him quiting every project frm KTH to LRL...why does he quit..as it leaves the directors uphappy n how does it happen...directors ask him to go ...or he leaves...Rajeev just said what would u rather have me playing 2 characters in 10 yrs or 10 characters..in 10yrs..the rj was impressed..n rajeev just said that he leaves when his contract comes to an end...
He then spoke abt his film aamir..n the rj com that rajeev can't talk abt the film n that's understandable...n rajeev said more than that there is so much wrk prior to the shoot which commences on 22nd oct..
He ended the int..by saying that he would recommend all his colleagues to be a guest on this show with the RJ-Anurag Pandey..
In btw of this int..there were a lot of calls that rajeev attended to..that bit was not on air for the listeners..but yeah ..most of them couldn't believe they were talking to him ...as rajeev said he faces that as maybe his voice on sounds diff than on Tv..
Whew !!!!!........Ok guys..this is it..i have missed a bit ..as in when he spoke abt missing his family or when that college grp..bunked their classes ...to talk to him...cause the innumerable nonsical tracks..as in songs that i had to listen thro' in btw..was just too much..Gosh...the en. no of songs that were played in those 2 hrs....three tracks by his himeshness..( pl. no offence to his fans)..n i was close to getting a migrane...
I know this post is extremely long n frankly i didn't think of updating....but knowing how much he is gonna be missed by his fans..in the coming months...i just posted cause some of u might want to read this....
