Finally, actress Priyanka Chopra took out some time from her hectic schedule to attend the recent event of Bajirao Mastani to celebrate the magic of Bajirao Mastani. Along with Priyanka, her co-star Ranveer Singh was also available at the event and their energetic presence at the event is worth praising!
Priyanka Chopra seemed to be on fire today. From the clash of Bajirao Mastani with Shahrukh Khan's Dilwale, to comparing the original casting (Salman & Aishwarya) of Bajirao Mastani with its current one (Ranveer & Deepika) , Miss Chopra answered each and every questions smartly.
Reportedly, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to make Bajirao Mastani with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but things did not work out. Finally, the film is being made with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as Bajirao and Mastani respectively. When Priyanka was being asked if Ranveer and Deepika can upstage the chemistry that Salman and Aishwarya could have created, she replied like this:
"I will have to imagine Salman and Aishwarya first playing these roles and then I have to think of Ranveer and Deepika upstaging it. It is complicated ...I think no one is better than Ranveer and Deepika as Bajirao and Mastani."
Priyanka, who essays the role of Kashibai in the film added, "This film has taken 12 years...I believe when the film is made and the actors who do it...It is their film eventually."
Not so long ago, Deepika-Priyanka featuring song Pinga got unveiled and Priyanka reveals one of the most beautiful fact of the that song and said, "Pinga is difficult. There is no competitiveness. It's about love for a man. And Deepika and I celebrate womanhood."
