Shahid Kapoor simply ignored former friend Karan Patel on Nach Baliye 3

If sources are to be believed, the so-called 'friends of yore' Shahid Kapoor and Karan Patel (of Kasturi fame) didn't even exchange greetings on the sets of Nach Baliye 3 early this week.

It wasn't too long ago when Karan was vocal about his 'gehri dosti' with Shahid during their early days in Shaimak Davar's dance troupe. Surprisingly, Shahid, who made an appearance on Nach Baliye 3 as a promotional exercise for his film Jab We Met chose to ignore Karan. A unit member informs, "Karan had earlier claimed that he is good friends with Shahid. But Shahid didn't even look at him forget talking to him."

Sources indicate that Karan's 'friendship stories' didn't go down well with the Bollywood actor, and that's why he snubbed Karan. A source close to Shahid informs, "Karan was just an acquaintance. He wanted to associate himself with Shahid just to garner some publicity. Obviously, Shahid didn't appreciate it."

However, Karan is not in a mood to sit quiet and when asked about Shahid's cold behaviour, he voiced his displeasure.

"We didn't speak to each other that day. I guess he wasn't bothered." Did Karan make efforts to speak to Shahid? "If he wasn't bothered, I wasn't keen either. I don't really care." Shahid was very friendly with other celebrity jodis, especially Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda, which added to Karan's fury.
