I liked this show when it started but I have a problem when children are tortured. There are a couple of shows on Zee Tv that they are. I know it's just television but just the same it's heartbreaking that they are treated so cruelly. Is this common in this country?

Manjiri said she will stand up against any wrong etc, and yet she does nothing but cry and emotionally blackmails Kaali to accept her fate! I do not like it at all, but I guess its for drama. I feel its high time Kaali starts to realise who her well wishers truly are. But at the same time, i feel like Kaali's naivety and her positiveness despite the ugly obstacles wrong at her, is what attracts people to the show. Just wish Manjiri stands up for her daughter. Its too much to just watch her cry, because she is not helpless. She can show her husband who the real boss is, if she truly wants to.

In this show, they are highlighting one of many ways children are exploited for stupid beliefs of the adults around them. There is no one to protect Kaali and her role in the family is to bring hem "luck". Manjri is no place to protect her as Gauri is not her daugher and she now has very little say in the family.

I am not sure which country you live in but crimes against children are common in all countries and cultures. They are often helpless to defend themselves and if they have no one to protect them, they often become victims of the unscrupulous people.

Kaali's situation is comparbale to "whipping boys". These were children who were punished when the kids of the royalties made the mistake but their teachers/adults were unable to punish them due the affluent kids' status. They would punish the "whipping boy" and no one came to save these kids

Yup,I asked the question. They show it so much I wondered. If you're offended, I'm sorry.
