Will MUSIC play Key role for TAMASHA TRIO to get Success?

Tamasha Trio - Imtiaz Ali (JWM, Love Aaj Kal), RK-DP (YJHD), these 3 films written in bracket had the most important aspect of Hindi film - Superhit MUSIC, which insures extra Kick for any film to get past clean line of Success(Clean HIT not Semi-Hit, Average).

Imtiaz-Ranbir came with Rockstar, Music was Big Hit partially not huge commercial like YJHD or JWM with more than 3-4 songs. RK-DP did BAH, which was having same result.

Here with Tamasha, Music has been let down so far, except for Matargashti, haven't heard much about other songs getting more & more popular in comparison with above 3 films. So now it all depends on this TRIO's 1st time coming together for a film.

Opening will be Bumper coz of HIT Pair with Good Weekend, critically acclaimed director, i am sure film will pass on CRITICS Level for sure... now will it Pass the Crucial MONDAY Test for clean Success(HIT), with this kind of MUSIC backing it up?

Highway got 1 of the year's BEST WOM, still film isn't clean hit, success, a certain section of cinegoers loved it. Critics praised it, Alia was praised, but that clean hit success which every filmmaker expect didn't came. WOM / CRITICS / WORK Praise pe koi question hi nahi when it is Imtiaz Ali is there, here i am referring to Clean HIT Success, able to win audience in large amount to get that status, not just few margin, which all 3 had done in those 3 films mention in start of my topic, that kind of success.

RockStar is 1 Ranbir film which should be his highest grosser as well as biggest hit coz he has done the BRILLIANT Act in that film out of all his films which i feel. Then what let down that film to even get a Clean HIT Status, just Semi-HIT? 1st let down was MUSIC, film was on ROCKSTAR Musical, but wasn't Popular commercial kind of music (1-2 tracks not all), 2nd came Heroines which was trashed like anything. Here in Tamasha, he has DP, top heroine, Top director, but again MUSIC is bit let down, not in terms like YJHD kind of songs which were smash hit the moment they hit the release.

WOM is different from critical acclaim right? I dunno..As far as i remember, there were quite a few who found Highway boring too..And its an off beat film in a way..Tamasha is mainstream..A love story..So if the WOM is good, it'l probably do well..Otherwise there is no hope 😆 Rockstar was trashed too by quite a few critics if am not wrong..And i know many (including me) who hated the film 😆

Rockstar din deserve to do well..It was a bad film IMO 😆 I loved the music though so am not the right person to comment on this 😆

Yes, WOM is different from Critical Acclaim, i sumed up all, as Tamasha might get Good WOM as well as Critical acclaim, as majority of Imtiaz film in major proportion has mange to live upto that.

Itna sab kar k bhi agar movie hit na ho Tu kiya Faida. I read on net that they have AR.rehman concert too and music is solid
It should be hit at least.its a solo release
