Funeral took place yesterday

Ranveer Singh's paternal grandfather Sunder Singh Bhavnani passed away on Thursday. He was 91.

The nonagenarian didn't show any sign of illness. After waking up as usual, he enjoyed his early morning cup of tea and even had a light breakfast. Then all of a sudden, he collapsed.

Incidentally, his daughter Sonia who is settled abroad, had returned just a couple of days ago after paying her dad a casual visit.

She is expected to fly back soon.

Ranveer, who has been attending the numerous promotions of Bajirao Mastani, is putting up a brave front despite the personal loss.

RIP. Ranveer is all about his family. Even though his grandfather was 91, this must be difficult for all of them. It is good that his grandfather didn't have to go through a long iillness and got to see his daughter.
