Hello Hammie.
I was very busy.

I watched this episode ..and was heartbroken to see Suwarn's scenes. I had tears in my eyes. This reminded me of a scene from Khaki the movie in which a lover : Akshay was killed by his beloved woman ..played by : Aishwarya. It is the biggest shock a person can have. And Vandy did a gr8 job showing her hurt and disbelieve. Trip too was superb. Such a terrific actor..he made me mad. I just wanted to kill him.

Awesome take on the Saturday episode. You should be a sleuth or a crime writer!!👏👏👏
I appreciated your nuances that you brought out --the little details and hypothesis, such as Sue's earring.

For me the interesting thing was the precap --Sue is not dead! Thank God. This means that I can continue to watch the episodes.

Sue's being accosted by a wayward drunk and mistaken for a prostitute is a prophetic scene. The drunk can be pardoned because he is intoxicated, but what about Trip, who also sees Sue in the same way? There is no pardon for Tripurari, but in a way, he is drunk too, drunk with the hubris of his own power and the feeling of elation that comes with a feeling that one is above the law.

Sue's hurriedly-donned bridal attire becomes her coffin --the red sari representing fertility, abundance, love, and trust is stained with her blood and that of her unborn offspring --a mute witness to the murder attempt. Red on red, the horrifying colour of life force leaving the body in the form of the blood is a symbol of the hidden crime, where the blood is difficult to discern. It is indeed ironic that when questioned about the blood staining his clothes, Trip dismisses the blood as belonging to a goat led for slaughter. Sue is the goat, unintelligent sheep, who just has flock mentality. Like every young girl, Sue dreamed of a secure future --only for her trust to be betrayed badly. Sue is the trusting scapegoat of Trip's wily ways. Stopped in her tracks by the macabre stabbing, she clings to the temple bells --they provide her with voice. When Sue is unable to speak, unable to utter a single word, the bells peal the message of alarm. Is anyone there? Rather is anyone with a conscience there?? The silent earring, gleaming, clings to Trip with the same trust shown moments earlier by its owner. Lend me a ear, it appears to say. Or at least tell me what happened? It is interesting that you think Trip will use it to plant the evidence on Vip, but I have a feeling that the earring will do him in eventually. At least it is my wishful thinking.

I have not watched yesterday's episode, and will get back to you when I do. Have a good day.
