noone denies...madhuri was a star during that period and also she is a senior to all the 3 KHANS...but HAHK worked not only due to madhuri...but there are various factors attached to that one film...

HAHK was not made with madhuri first...SB wanted to repeat salman-bhagyashree magic again but the latter opts for marriage thus the project went to madhuri...the film was always had salman on board first than everything comes after even madhuri...she was not the original choice for HAHK...it was bhagyashree which the film went to first...this has been confess by the man himself SB...

second factor...those era when action films and yashraj love stories were made...somewhere people missed the family oriented genre...MPK came as breathe of air but its a love story...family values and traditions were missing in those films...its either action or love...HAHK came as a beautiful family film that deals with family bonding...values...and a love story that touches hearts of millions where selfless love is being spread through family values and traditions...a bonding b/w joint family...its a beautiful concept and something unique for BW...HAHK brought the family magic into BW...thats where DDLJ inspired with the concept of bringing in family bonding in a love story...so SB concept and script changed the industry...

SB-Salman magic...MPK was a ATBB...this actor-director combination is a hit...they wanted to create the same magic in HAHK...SB-Salman are great friends and they have the comfort level...they understand each other plus and minus as actor and director...the magic is created again...expectations were high...they succeed...the legacy continued with HSSH...PRDP

HAHK songs...each and every songs in the movie is so melodious and beautiful...each song flows with the situation of the film...SPB-Lataji spread magic in the love story of Prem-Nisha with their voice...laxmikant-pyarelal combination is heaven in music of HAHK

salman-madhuri...their chemistry was so beautiful...it can't define in words...they brought prem-nisha live on-screen

madhuri is in the film...so dances are a must...her dance are a rage in 80s-90s...people buy tickets just to see her dance...Didi Tera Devar...Maye Ni Maye is just made for her...

SB directed the film with full honesty and convey his life through prem-nisha

there are lots of factors that HAHK a huge success...instead of giving the credit to madhuri...salman...who is the biggest star and all that crap...give the success and star power credit to the whole team of HAHK...they set a trend in BW and the film has been a inspiration to lots of filmakers...

when a film tells its story through the soul of the team...the film is always a success...HAHK is a beautiful film and it succeeds...its the hardwork of the team...not only madhuri or salman...
