Shot in the dark: Leading production company bans actress

Reckoned among A-list celebrities, this actress is having a tough time convincing a reputed production company to sign her for its projects. However, given its not-too-great experiences with her in the past, the banner has decided to close its doors to the pretty face " at least for the time being.

Says a source, "The actress featured in one of their films, which tasted huge commercial success. However, during the shoot, she had raised the hackles of the director as well as production house by throwing tantrums at the drop of a hat. Later, she turned down a couple of projects under the banner, which further enraged those in charge and they decided not to work with her in future."

The actress now is sending feelers to the company in a bid to bag one of their upcoming projects starring a handsome hunk. "A few others are also trying to lobby for the actress, but the top boss is in no mood to entertain them," adds the source.
