Having done episodic shows like 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' on Bindass, the good-looking lad Ankush Arora bagged the role of Kartik on Zee TV's 'Yeh Vaada Raha' in no time. Today, we at Tellybuzz speak to the actor about his progressing career and his contentment with his stint on television.

Speaking about his experience as a budding artist Ankush said, "When I came to Mumbai, I lived with 11 people in one room! I realized that there are so many new comers attempting to make it big here and was nervous on facing competition here. Getting work has not been easy, but I must say that this industry has something to offer for everyone. All we need is to do is, maintain a good rapport with the right kind of people, who can guide us to do better."

Speaking about shooting for 'Yeh Vaada Raha', which has a young team of actors, the actor averred, "I remember attending the press conference with my co-actor Roshni Walia. We were travelling together while I received a call. I decided to prank her by informing that the press conference is cancelled and gave her a hint that it may be because of some mistake caused by the actors. She was shocked and inquisitive for a while and wondered what wrong did she do, but I later told her that the conference was not cancelled. I can never forget the way she went on quizzing me nervously."

Apart from working hard towards being a versatile actor, Ankush also mentioned about his interest towards singing.

He stated, "I have an inclination towards singing as well, and whenever I find time I compose tracks. As of now, I have composed few Punjabi and Hindi tracks."
