I didn't view it like you did, like the whole matter is done with and Gayatri is now mad already. In fact had BRM not confessed to Gayatri that it wasn't a dream Gayatri would have definitely agreed with everyone that yes she is going insane and BRM's would succeed but remember what Gayatri was thinking the 3 scenes o Sulakshana's face, the burn mark the refusing the smoke from morning puja, and prick of the mang tikka which didn't hurt her face immediately now Gayatri will know I didn't dream this therefore its true Sula is fake, and BRM is the mastermind. So now remember that promo though it included a slap its now easy for Gayatri to strip Sula of her mask infront of Ranaji and Sula will be out of their lives so BRM's plan has already failed, it was a bit of a mistake by revealing to Gayatri that she's not dreaming but its real, Rajmata I'm sure will believe Gayatri shortly, it was the first day she was looking and thinking but her experience will BRM will make her side with her bahu here, there is even an article about it too, so its not over yet.
Rajmata was able to manage BRM possibly because she made BRM not part of that mahal she used to have her own home somewhere else but when Ranaji paid back the money to Sethji he mentioned how he was going to do it was to sell that palace so now BRM is a problem but she can carry own her evil plans that's what is bringing the drama to the serial anyway, if it was all sweetness with love and nothing going wrong for me that is not a serial we need villains for the hero and heroine to deal with. As a criticism we can say they can show issues outside of the mahal with the citizens of Ameerkot what they going through and bringing their problems to Ranaji and Gayatri also dealing with that coming out of their immediate family but if the serial is a success that will come in later months.
What I do understand from all these creatives the build up a track to a crescendo, for example Sula was enjoying Gayatri taunting be my maid etc but it was all building up to Ranaji's rejection of her and throwing her out of the room and he choosing Gayatri over her. . So what I'm saying is now the track is the Sula unmasking that is what they are building up to.
For me now the serial has a story with BRM's ill feelings defined, her aims are clear and her shenanigans including what is happening to Swarna is part of their plan its devious and self serving and part of the mahal. I'm just waiting for the real Sulakshana's ghost now to come in revenge to the granny for killing her. 😆 (just joking the last bit).
