Girls,who are girls? Is they all are blessing for a family and society or a curse?? If they r blessings then why many people kill them before their births or why many people throw them away like a trash after their births, or why they didn't given the right to live or right to freedom and study... If they r curse then why we all worships them like goddess durga on devi's day Ashtami... Well we all can debt on this topic till the time we want,but their are very less chances that we got the right answer... Meri Pechaan,This story is about a girl name Kalpana, who was the youngest child of the family after her two elder sisters maya and pakhi,for their mother everything in her life is a big problem,she was totally fed up with her three daughter,specially with kalpi,she always thinks her daughters as a misfortune for their family,she never cared about her daughters, being the younger one in the family,kalpi was very talkative,she love exploring new new things and loves to ask question about them which always irritates her mother like hell and as a result she always ends up slapping her...kamla their mother was excepting her fourth child,this time she desperately wants a boy so that she can get rid of this unwanted pregnancies for forever,though kamla never loved and cared about her daughters but three of them were the princesses of their father,their father always tried his best to support their daughters, when kamla were against their daughters education, as she believes that if their daughters get educated then no one will marry them at that time their father stood up with them for their education,for their rights to study...one night kalpi noticed a dhruv tara in the sky,her father told her that if she worked hard, she could become anything she wants just as dhruv tara becomes a star to which kalpi moaned but I can't become a boy,I can't...kalpi and her sisters were always told to bend down infront of others because they all believes that since they were born as girls,they should have to bend down all their life and had to endure all the pain...though kalpi and her sisters were very well educated but her mother decided to get them married as soon as possible so that she can get rid of her daughters,so firstly she fixed kalpi's marriage before her two elder daughters with a 60 years old man,just triple of her daughters age,kalpi didn't want to get married so soon as she wants to become a doctors so she tried her best to make her mother understands but she didn't listen to anything,even this time their mother didn't listen to their father also...that old man and his family demands lots of dowry for the marriage so kamla and vitthal fulfills all their unnecessary demands to that much extend they can because its believed that the girl should carry lots of assets to her in-laws house so that she doesn't become the burden in her new house but no one never thinks that who can a girl be a burden,infact she is the most cheapest domestic helper who not only look after her husband but his parents too and others family members also...but when on marriage day when they demand 2 lack rupees more for the marriage,its high time for kalpi to bear all that,she stood up and call of her marriage and her father also supported her but kamla was hell angry with this so she just throw kalpi out the house,with kalpi,maya and pakhi too left that house which kalpi always knew that no matter anyone was with her or not,her sisters were always with her,they will always support her...maya and pakhi advice kalpi to come along with them to city and starts a fresh life but kalpi denies by saying that she wants to change this old traditions, norms,values and peoples mentality and it will only be possible by staying here so she will stay here and will fight till her last breathe for every girl rights, her sisters also decides to support her so they also stay backs...soon three of them start campaigning for girls rights, though many people join them in their campaigning but still their were lots of people who were totally against their campaigning, they all tried many a times to threaten them,dominate them but every time they all were back with more and more confidence which somewhere start scaring them all, but they also didn't give up like them,they always come up with some or other idea to destroy their campaigning...one day some NGO ladies come down to village for awareness camp,to make people aware about their right, benefits of education specially for girls,kalpi too join that camp, during that camp some reporters also come down to village and among all the reporters,one of them was raghav,though he was not at all inserted in that camp but on his friends insist he went to camp with his friends,totally unaware that in this camp he will find the love of his life kalpi...kalpi was silently listening all the speech's delivered by that NGO ladies,she was somewhere confused that they all were only discussing that how together we all can change this man dominating society,this nation but what about ourselves doesn't we need to change ourselves first,one of the lady saw kalpi lost in her own thoughts so she calls her on stage and tells her to share her views about this, first kalpi hesitated but then she thought that it would be benefit for her campaigning,so she start expressing her views,she told to everyone that we all dream to change this society,this nation but none of us wishes to change themselves...it is said that if we want change then we have to be with the change,if we all changes ourselves and stop bearing pain, stop getting dominated by others then the society and world will get changed by itself only,if we get dominated others will dominant us more and more so before changing society or world we all have to change ourselves,first we all have to fight with ourselves,so stop pitying ourselves and start fighting for your rights but first and most important just proud yourselves to be a girl instead of regretting,so at last to change something first change ourselves. their were sounds of clapping all around after kalpi's speech, everyone was highly impressed by her,many were wondering that how she had so much of maturity and understanding at such a young age but moreover to the crowd someone was highly impressed with kalpi and its none other than our hero raghav,he start getting attracted towards her so to be with her,he decides to help her in her campaigning,first kalpi denies to take any kind of help from raghav though everyone tries a lot to make her understand that how helpful it will for their campaigning but when everybody's supports raghav unwilling but she gets ready to take his help,raghav always tries to find one or another way to be close to kalpi,though she didn't like this at all but still she remains silent for others happiness but as time passes a cute bond of friendship grows up between both kalpi and raghav,though it is only friendship from kalpi's side but from raghav's side,he slowly falls in love with kalpi but he always hesitate to tell her about his feelings because he very well knows everything about kalpi's horrible past and he knows that too that because of her past she would never accept him,not only him but she would never accept anyone in her life but one day when they all were preparing for their campaigning suddenly kamla comes their which shock everyone as after her daughters left her house she never meet them for even once and now all of a sudden she was here...before anyone could understands anything kamla starts her so called fake drama,she starts crying and tells her daughters that she had realised her mistake and now she was very sorry for her behaviour and that's why today she comes here to take back all of them to their home with her, though everyone believes on kamla's drama but kalpi and her sisters remains unaffected as they very well knows their mother...
