not again! Pakistani vs. Indians

i am sorry to those who i will offend with my comments but in the first epi they showed how the terrorists were muslims n pakistan i wonder if production house knows how many ppl that will offend? like this is the kind of stuff that leads to alot of fights as ur puttin 2 cultures together that r very alike but same time differences and if movies doing this wasnt enough they goin makin serioals...like wat r they tryin to show that watever happens its cuz of pakistanis? not to start a war here but i think its unfair that pakistanis r put into serial n bein labled as terrorists but ya i know this is a serial but i feel offended n werid n wonderin wat were they thinkin when making this serial? i know there r movies n tons of like reactions n negative stuff but i jus thought it was really odd that they do this..n even though it involves the army they should think of some alternate..but overall it was a interesting epi but i really think they should of thought this over being doing this. i hope u ppl understand where i am gettin without bein mean lolz

Isha your point is well taken.

Here is my take - Showing terrorist's as muslims is offending definitely. I am pretty sure there are extremists in other religions too. there isn't one religion that does not have its extreme ones. I think they show it that way in CHA b'cos a lot of attacks around the world and specially in india are carried out by these extremists..That does not mean the normal muslim community is not good. I have a lot of friends who are muslims and whom i adore very much. I don't think i would ever make the mistake of stereo typing someone as bad b'cos they follow a different religion than mine.

Another thing, i don't think the show is about india and pakistan. I think rather it was being shown that he was POW (prisoner of war) in pakistan. I am sure that there are pakistani's in indian jails who are POWs. that's how the world works and i think no one took it as anything against pakistan. If that's the case i would not have any friends. I respect my friends from Pakistan too much to even say anything against pakistan. 😳

yes,they shudnt drag pakistan in btw ....i was feeling hurt when they show pakistan flag .....

right i just read all this and although i am a muslim so perhaps i will give u my view on this...

foremost CHA is a drama and not a factual based political show. secondly if u listen to the dialogues, veer clearly said that they are attacking or wanting to fish out terrorist cells within their neighbouring country which is pakistan who want to halt the peace process..

now before we rally around and burn flags...we better watch further episodes cause they might join forces with pakistan perhaps to attack this cells...

this is a fact that all us patriotics in us cannot deny 9/11, 7/7 and bomb blasts in various countries were carried out by so called muslims who think murder is justified... and most of these cells have training camps in pakistan and around the world

the flag was shown why? to connect viewers that abhimanyu was a POW in pakistan......they did not show the flag in the terrorist camp did they? now POW exist toooo in each and every country...this is a drama not a documentary so things will be dramatised to create effect and capture viewers...

come on its a bit cliched.. if u watch bond movies all villians are either austrian or russian or japan and these flags fly to connect viewers... the same here in UK there is a show called spooks which is based on MI6 and all terrorist cells are muslims, u watch.. yeap at times u scream no way come on😆

so chill out, wanna be proud of ur flag the be proud what each and every country achieves be it in any field, rather then being proud or saddened of what happens in a serial(which is fictional completely & over exaggerated ).. 😳

oh btw can someone help me there was a pakistan drama called Shahpar based on PAF.. anyone watched that how does that compare?

yes i know its only a serial but as pakistani i m not agree with concept
alot of people like IQABl khan and all other casts of drama and i think becaz of this they will loss there fame in pakistan
