Actor's constant phone check upsets director - Guess Who?

This talented actor, while shooting for his film with a reputed director, was constantly checking his phone. Whether in free time or during the shots, the actor couldn't stay away from the phone, which eventually irked the director, who happens to be this actor's friend too.
Though the director didn't create much fuss about this issue, the fact that he was upset, showed up on his face. In fact, the director went quiet on seeing his actor frequently on phone, which is surprising, because usually, the director can't stop talking. With the director and actor having worked together in the past, we wonder has this happened for the first time or is it that the director took note of this for the first time! We shall try finding that out...
