Raman came out of Dr Batra"s cabin still lost in her thoughts.
Raman (thinking)- Who was that girl.
I dont even know her name. Should I ask Uncle. But he has gone for that
emergency. What should I do? Think Think Raman...Yes...I will ask uncle this
Sunday.
Finally that day came. It was Sunday evening. Toshiji and Simmi were busy in preparing dinner. Raman was continuously looking at door. Mr Bhalla noticed this.
Mr Bhalla - Raman What's wrong. Why are you looking at door every other min?
Raman - Woh Nothing papa. Just waiting for uncle and Simmi' s doctor. Unhe ghar ka address pata hai
Mr Bhalla - Haan puttar Tu chinta na kar
Raman - Ohk.. He took magazine from
the table and started pretending to be reading it.
His eyes were still fixed on door.
After some time Dr Batra entered alone.
Dr Batra - Bhabhi wah! Dal makhani ki khushbu bahar tak aa rahi hai
Mr Bhalla - Aa gaya tu.
They hug and Raman touched his feet. They settled and Toshiji served them some snacks and tea.
Toshi- Bhai Sahab Ishita kithe reh gayi
Dr Batra smiled - Oh Bhabhiji. Dont worry about her. Woh kabhi kahi time pe nahi pahuchti. Uska track record hi aaisa hai. She will be here soon.
They started chatting again. Om and Dr Batra were busy recollecting their old school memories. Raman wanted to ask him about that girl but he was not getting any opportunity. He was getting frustrated with their continuous talk.
Raman - Papa ap apni medicine le lijiye. Phir dinner ka time ho jayega
Mr Bhalla - Acha yaad dilaya beta. Main abhi aata hoon.
With that he stood up and excused himself.
Thinking it as a perfect opportunity he started the convo . But to his bad luck Simmi interrupted him in between.
Simmi - Uncleji ! Ishita nahi aayi. Bahut der ho gayi.
Dr Batra - Haan puttar . Let me call her.
He was about to dial her number and when she entered breathing heavily with a bag in her hand.
Ishita - Sorry Sorry Main late gayi.
Dr Batra - There she comes. Puttar What happened today. Tyre puncture?
Ishita - Arre haan Sir How do you
know. Woh actually My car broke. Phir taxi dundi. Phir yahan ki lift kharab
thi. Toh mein staircase se aye. Isliye. She was still panting.
Simmi if u don't mind can you please give a glass of water

Raman was looking at them without blinking his eyes. Girl for whom he was looking from past 2 days is standing in front of him. He was busy adorning her. She was wearing baby pink suit with matching earrings, light makeup and light pink lip stick.
His eyes were fixed on her. Simmi brought him back.
Simmi - Bhai Kahan koya hai. Chal let me introduce you to her. She is my doctor cum friend.
They walk towards her.
Simmi - Ishita meet my brother Raman Bhalla. Bhai she is Dr Ishita
Raman forwarded his hand - Hi Dr Ishita
She shook hands with him. As soon her
hands met his, chill ran through his spine.
Ishita - Hello Mr Bhalla
Toshiji called them for dinner.
Dinner went well. Throughout dinner Raman was stealing glances of her. Unknown to this Ishita was busy chatting with Simmi and Toshiji.

please accept it. Dr Batra phone ranged. He got some emergency from clinic. Ishita - Sir ap jayeye. Main taxi le lungi. Mr Bhalla - Nah puttar Raman chod dega tujhe. Thankfully She smiled finally. Raman was relieved seeing that smile back on her face. Raman - Dr Ishita . You look beautiful when you smile Ishita blushed a little and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Ishita looked away- Hmm We reached. He stopped the car.
