Symbolism- Setting the direction Swarna and Gayatri

Friday epi had beautiful symbolism. We had Cheetah in driving seat and Swarna by his side, similarly we had RNJ in driving seat and Gayatri by his side.

hmm... here I was thinking Swarna should have been sitting in the back and her sitting beside Cheetah was too familiar.

It was a beautiful way of showing though the men thought they were in charge, it is the woman who is actually gonna drive it. Or decide how they are gonna drive.

And in Gayatri's case, she fights with RNJ goes out of the car and RNJ has to go to pacify her, which is actually gonna save their life.

So it shows that, there will be a separation in their life, where Gayatri might go, but then it is her going and then he going behind her is what going to turn the battle. Or just like BRM's plan went into flames today, that separation will end BRM's whatever plan remaining.

@shruthiravi : Symbolic or not, Rana Deo driving the car on his way to the railway station was a big blunder. In their enthusiasm to ensure the leads spent some time together, the Director forgot that the car cannot drive back to the Palace alone. 🤣 What about the private helicopter shown in the 1st episode? They could hav shown the royals driven to the Helipad...the bomb would hav gone off anyway!

But I hav to agree that the Swarna angle is getting interesting esp. since a new actor has joined the soap. This could be a liberation time, of new beginnings and end of violence against women. Exposure of treachery, greed, betrayal of motherland and patriotism. I hope the Creatives play out this story well...

@Rekha I don't look at such blunders in hindi soaps. If you look at them then hindi soaps cannot be watched 😆😆😆😆. Because they will be n in number 😆😆

I meant the Cvs use symbolism a lot to make a point subtly.

Some are obvious like the flickering lamp, others in dance movements etc.

Yaa Simran, actually I love shows where there is subtle symbolism, hard to get types 😆😆. Actually this driving seat symbolism I caught from EHT. I had completely missed the significance of the position in EHT and during wedding track I was scratching my head 😆😆 telling even after connecting every point with Mahabharath, what I was missing. And it is when Dr Dayal offers the deal to Dev in the marriage mandap it struck me and I was like how by knowing Mahabharath I could miss the obvious.

In the whole show the only person the CVs allowed to be on the side seat while Durga driving is Dev. Else in every other case if she is car with someone she takes the side seat. She held the direction of everyone's action. And at somepoint unexpectedly someone else takes the direction of her battle in his hands. It was so obvious, you could predict the storyline in one sentence and the dumb me missed it there grossly.

Me too😃 It's fun to decode them & scratch ur head at times.

I watched EHT in bits & pieces, but followed some of the beautiful posts on symbolism on the forum.
I think these guys had foreshadowed RGD's attempts top leave RNj & him stopping her in the Navratri dance.If u see, she goes away & he pulls her back couple of times while dancing.

I said this Najat's thread, I think they are following the following the rule of three in building upto high points.
RNJ stops RGD twice from leaving, third time some thing major will happen.
same with RGD's dance, stuff happened when she danced third time.

I must applaud these CVs for sticking to what they are foreshadowing using symbols & don't trash them like they did in QH for twists.
